How is Georgia automatically better when losing Ringo, Carter, Washington, Bennett, among others?

Go back and watch the 2nd half of the Natty. UGA defense had a bunch of Freshman in there on defense laying waste to TCU offense.

Bear Alexander - DT
Jalon Walker - OLB
Mykal Williams - DE

All 3 of those are stars and only Mykal played a meaningful role for most of the season. Linebackers are best in college football (Mondon/Dumas-Johnson) and Malachi Starks is freak safety and also a Freshman starter all last year.

There was a slight dropoff on defense from 2021-2022. There won’t be a dropoff from 2022-2023 there. To me, the most difficult replacements will be Ringo(CB) and Chris Smith(S).

UGA’s recruiting has been so good on defense and the coaching is so good that there just isn’t a dropoff. LSU just cannot match up - no doubt LSU has talent but not at the level of UGA - maybe in a few years but not right now. It took a few years for UGA to catch Bama and it will take a few years for LSU to get close to UGA - it won’t happen in 2023 - it just won’t.

LSU needs to worry about Bama, not UGA.
LSU got smoked by VOLS and AGGIES
You ain’t there yet - Purdue sucks.

Offense should be a better supporting cast for whomever is the starting QB - better overall WR room as well. Darnell Washington exits but here comes Oscar Delp as TE#2 to pair with Bowers. RBs will be deeper in 2023 than 2022.

Embarrassment of Riches.

When you are the best team 2 years in a row, I guess you get to call your shot

Best odds to win the natty again according to Vegas

I mean any team that is reigning back to back national champs are gonna be favored heavily to win every game the following year no matter who is on the schedule

With the exception of Alabama, it would be the same win probabilities if they had an SECW schedule

this type of shite preseason literally cracks me up. We are loaded. We are not three years away from being able to match UGA. What planet are you living in? You seriously have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to our potential. That’s why we play the game. You lucked up into playing a shitty TCU and we’re now just supposed to bow down? What a joke. We put 500 plus on that elite D of yours and they are going to be even better next year. OSU even outplayed your arse. Enjoy your shitty schedule as usual.

Did you watch the UckFing SECCG? Dawgs beat the shite out of LSU in the first half and pretty much just played soft in 2nd half. UGA put up a 50-burger on LSU defense.

UGA will be better in 2023 than 2022 - so if LSU is better in 2023 - it still won’t matter. LSU is inferior.

LSU fans don't know football.

I figured that out a long time ago.

Winning prediction percentages are all fine and good but every year is different. Georgia could easily have some WTF games this fall and end up 8-4. Granted they might run the schedule this year but I say the probability of Georgia winning all their games is zero. That is 0.

I have forgotten more football than you would ever know. Every year is different. Games are not won on paper but on the field.
Georgia could have a rash of injuries, other teams may be better, lots of things could happen. Going undefeated is very difficult.
I just stated my opinion. I doubt Georgia goes undefeated in 2023.

Doubting UGA can go undefeated versus saying unequivocally that the chances they could are ZERO - is two different things.

You said UGA has ZERO chance - which is a ridiculous statement.

Damn that’s an atrocious schedule. Georgia pretty much has to go undefeated this coming season. There is just not but 1 real marquee game on the schedule for UGA and if Tennessee drops off any UGA will not have a signature win unless Lane can get OM up for this coming season.

UGA can have one loss - they are getting in unless there’s 4 undefeated Power 5 schools.

A one loss defending B2B National Champion will get the benefit of the doubt. You know, like Bama has in the past.

UGA is basically Ohio State... They only have one team in their division to beat... Literally, the easiest road to the sec championship.

I think the SECe was 9-6 against the SECw last year.

6-6 if you take UGA out of the equation.

It's a good thing we also get to play two SECW teams each season, plus the best in the West in the championship game.
