What's the one team you'd love to see go down in flames this year?

Title says it all.

Not 100% sure yet, but I will be an orange one.

Op asks question: "What's the one team you'd love to see go down in flames this year?"

Op answers question with 2 teams.

For tradition's sake - Alabama and UGA, same as always

LSU having a disastrous year would be fun just so we could double down on the Gene Chizik comparisons. I have no particular animosity toward LSU at the moment, it's just always a good time around here.

In light of the circumstances, there are fewer teams than normal that I want to see take it on the chin. Just less hype all around. I mean, we all expect Alabama to be good, but it's not to the obnoxious extent it is in normal years.

Could be anyone. And it doesn't even have to be a game. Notre Dame just postponed their game this weekend with Wake Forrest. 7 Irish players tested positive.

All the wolfing this season won't stop the real bully in the room.

I always enjoy FSU losing in anything, badminton, bowling, women's synchronized swimming. So the last few years have been a joy watching that dumpster fire football program.

I understand UGA but if the Gators don't make it, I'm rooting for LSU and Bama to win a natty or any SEC West team. Hell I'd probably root for UGA over other conferences.

It's been a great 2 weeks and UF hasn't even played yet.

What more could go wrong for them? How about all their pretty girls transfer to UF? I will give them that. We used to rule the state in gorgeous women but they've got us beat now a days. Our admission standards are too high.

I know what you mean.

After week 1, I saw something that I hadn't seen in a long, long time.

Hope from GT fans.

Week 2 was very sweet.
I dont care that we do not play GT this season because I get to see their hopes dashed. When is the last time that a GT fan had their hopes up? Beating Dan Mullen in his best team at Miss St (2014)?

Without knowing about anything that’s going on inside GT football, it really got my attention when Josh Pate called GT the biggest sleeping giant in the country on his show a couple months ago.

Sounds like a major culture shift might be going on there.

Lol

Is that what it is called.

The culture is being built brick by brick. 5 star hearts. And a coach who stands on his tippie-toes in every recruiting photo op.

Now a Butch Jones wannabe is an improvement in culture versus Turkey-neck johnson. But it isnt a sleeping giant.

I love watching that hope and hype.
The 10 Georgia Tech fans who arent a part of the country's greatest generation are seeing hope for the first time in a long time. It makes Tech losing fun again for us dawg fans.

I have no “dawg” in it. Just thought it was interesting as an outsider that Pate, who is pretty well connected in CFB, was saying this.
