this is one of the reasons no one believes you. your credibility is very low and may be irreparable.

y he's ruled academically ineligible for the 2016 season because of a clerical error by his academic advisors
This is no "clerical error". He's entering his fourth year and has less than 60% of the requirements for a Recreation Administration degree. There's no excuse for that.
That's not a dumb reason for a suspension.

For UGA, recently, I'd say your lineman(?) that was ruled ineligible because of the residue medication in his system from his medical treatments(I forget what was wrong with him)
Alabama had one of those about 15 years ago.

Urban Meyer was sore that Patrick Peterson picked LSU, so he flagged his ACT score with the clearinghouse because it rose a few points. Peterson missed a few games his freshman year as a result. Dude is a scumbag.

Russell Shepard was suspended for 3 games to start the 2011 season for discussing the NCAA investigation in to Willie Lyles with a teammate. He admitted to talking to Craig Loston about the investigation before he met with NCAA officials.

Sewanee has a pretty bad football team so we might as well all be suspended

I've got to say Derrick Rose's is pretty ridiculous. He was cleared by the NCAA to play, then afterwards, Memphis had to vacate an entire season for playing an ineligible player.
Nobody from the university was implicated in investigation and they didn't know he was ineligible. Rose left for the pros, Calipari left for Kentucky, Memphis was the only one punished in the whole situation.

It's not football but Vanderbilt had a basketball player get suspended for four of five games a few years ago because he gave a senior money to buy him a parking pass. Seniors get first dibs on parking passes so for some reason the NCAA considered that an unfair benefit.

Wesley Saunders back in 2010 was pretty dumb too I think.

BYU had a chance to make an NCAA tournament run and suspended their star big man for the postseason for having consensual sex with his girlfriend in the privacy of his residence.
Nothing will ever top that for me and it was self-inflicted.

Do you want a turn or something? You'll have to jump off Nick Saban's nutsack first.

I will NEVER jump of Saban's coin purse. Never.
