I'll be pulling for LSU, but make no mistake, this Clemson team SHOULD BE very good. It looks a lot like Dabo's squads in 2016-2018 with the defensive talent, QB talent and OL talent. They have A TON of experience coming back and I want to say over 85% of their offensive production is returning.
This won't be an easy game for the Bayou Bengals, but they need to get it done. They definitely do not need to fall behind early or it could get out of hand. Nuss and crew need to jump out on Clemson quick and don't take the foot off the gas pedal.

Unlike Kirby or Saban, Dabo hasn't been able to prove that he can be as successful with different coordinators. Remember, that one staff is all he had major succes with. Prior to those guys he was good, but not great. Since those guys he has been good, but not great. Great coaches are still great regardless of staff. We will see this year.

They have a coach who won a NT...that is all I got. Not sold on them.

Clemson’s biggest weakness is their run D which was awful last year but LSU can’t/won’t run the ball to take advantage of it

Nothing at all. That’s the one team in the playoff last year I can say for certain didn’t belong. That’s why any auto bids for the acc and big 12 are horse shite. Winning the acc didn’t even get them higher than 16.
