Don't worry about it Joshua.
Whoever LSU hires, you will laugh and say he sucks. We get it.

Its a simple question, should be a very short list with only one name at the top, yet he must not be named, because "we will take who we want"
Reality is you will want who will take you.

LSU sports radio guy Matt Mascona said LSU can get anybody they want
You fired a guy who averaged 10 wins a season, who had won a national title and played for another. You fired him in the middle of the season, and you're spending 10 million dollars to do that.
If you're going to do that, you better have someone in mind, and you better bring him in, regardless of the cost. If you don't, then this is going to be a gigantic disaster.

And his reasoning is exactly why LSU can't get whoever they want.
10 Win seasons for a decade straight, 1 NC, playing for another isn't good enough to be fired after the season at the least, move on "on your own" best case scenario.
No, you are tossed to the streets like a dog for starting 2-2.
Unrealistic expectations from a delusional fanbase.

quote:Believe me, that thought has definitely occurred to me too. And I noticed that Saban called them out on it. Saban's relevant not because he is a target (he isn't), but because he was here and knows the people involved, and he knows what Miles had to contend with.

The point remains- if you do this, you BETTER get your man.

Well it's not going to be Dabo, cause we're getting him too.

If LSU hires anyone not named Nick Saban, then they aren't a top 5 job.
If Belichick doesn't want Saban as his DC, then LSU won't hire Saban. It's that simple.

They could still come out and say they might be interested in the job depending on how the rest of the season goes. Never hurts to be honest imo
Unless you are a high level football coach, with 85 guys that came to play for you on your team along with a likely rabid fan base that would be extremely offended. Not to mention countless recruits you are trying to convince you are the best program for.
Be a little awkward if you didn't end up with the offer right?

Last year, Fisher was coming to LSU but big govt said no. So, what makes you think that they won't say no again
Last year big government stepped in and said no to firing miles (buyout) not no to hiring Jimbo.
You know what makes me think they won't say no again? Because miles is fired and we are paying his buyout.
Did your post actually sound intelligent in your head?
