You might want to check his recruiting class and ask Auburn fans if they are remotely the same? I do believe he hasn't adjusted to the grind of the SEC yet and we'll see if he can make that adjustment. But I think all Bama fans would be lying if they didn't expect there to be bumps along the way in a transition season. Most had already penciled in Georgia and Tenner as losses preseason. To split those should have been an accomplishment but losing to Vandy and barely getting by SC have certainly muddied the water a bit. If Bama squeaks by this Mizzou team then LSU will be their 3rd loss. Not too worried about Oklahoma and then anything can happen against Auburn.

The truth is currently the recruiting is the same between Bama and Auburn. And, both head coaches look like they are out of their depth. The truth is we are recruiting well b/c of NIL and Saban residue. Basically, we have no more to sell than Auburn. Both are middle of the road SEC programs while I write this.

DeBoer is a rebound. Bama dates a hot chick for years. Now he is chilling a bit with the flavor of the month. Just don't knock her up (with an extension).

Nothing that happens from now on this year will change that Deboer will be there next season.
Down the road, it will be interesting to see what happens if Deboer ends up being a regular 10-2 to 9-3 regular season coach who exits in the first or second round of the playoffs every year they make it.
For most teams, that would be more than enough for a coach to not ever have their seat warm. But for Bama? Not sure how long he'd last doing that.

At this point it will be a struggle for DeBoer to make it to season #3. At minimum, after this season is over DeBoer will either of his own volition or he will be made to scrap the entire defensive staff and fire his OC. At minimum!

The comparison was between DeBoer and Harsin.

Maybe it's time for you to look for another team to pull for? It's not as dire as you make it out to be.
