14-10
and it was 3rd down and 3 or 4, and would have gotten stopped for a minimal gain.

14-10. Which was much closer than when LSU was down 11 points at the half.

Saban was just playing for a field goal there. Smart move.

Was it 14 -10? Or was it before LSU scored?

14-10 Bama leading in the 3rd with 1:06 left in the quarter.
eta- It was his 5th consecutive rush on that drive and we abandoned the run after that.

Not sure if serious, he had the first down easily.

A lot of people are not going to believe this but I have it on good authority. Saban has been worried for weeks about whether or not we could keep up offensively with Oregon and he needed to know how our two minute offense would respond if needed. This was only a test and it was planned without the players knowledge. They obviously passed the test but it was stressful.
I know most will not believe this but all of that was planned just so The Master could get a look at the two minute offense under real life conditions.
He is a brilliant coach.

Anyone watching the game could easily come to that conclusion. If you don't want to hear otherwise, don't watch ESPN.

The run blocking on that play (like most of our runs) looked good. Maybe the hole would have closed quickly, but there was definitely room to run.
