I used to travel to Knoxville and east Tennessee all the time in the 80's and 90's for business. I always found UT fans to be pretty normal and likable people.

its not until this last 10 years that they've pretty much gone full retard. I guess a 10 year dry spell will do that.

It'll be like that again once we get over our impending revenge chest thumping. When you've been down as long as we have you get a little obnoxious when you start winning again.

Their 2 main rivals have combined for 4 national titles and a 14-0 record against them since they were last relevant.

Oh and their GOAT player's little bro won two Super Bowls, while Peyton choked miserably in his only appearance in that same span. LOL at Tennessee

I think you're forgetting the Indy/Chicago Suoer bowl that Peyton did win.

So you're saying you haven't really traveled in Tennessee over the past 15 years? You're basing your opinion of Tennessee fans over the past 10 years on your internet interaction. Sounds idiotic

I mean really. I understand spinning the facts to fit the narrative because this is the rant, but how do you forget that?

Never seen Dumb and Dumber, huh? Not surprised it's quite the underground cult film.

Tennessee fans were much nicer then because they could count on regular trips to the Citrus Bowl. It was also more fun beating them. Now it is kinda meh.

Serious question though, does any other SEC team have GOAT that was winless against one of his main rivals? I mean if Tebow or Danny went winless against Uga and FSU that'd be sad.

Chavis gave up an average 41 pts to Spurrier during the Manning years, so most Vol fans don't necessariily place all the blame on Manning for those losses.

Just know their fans are much more tolerable when choking on humble pie than they ever were when they were good.
