i can see it happening because of the rushing element that kyler brings to the table.

even if allen wins the job, its not as if we arent going to be better off with a qb that can run like kyler in some games/situations.

if kyler ends up second string, which i think he will, we are gonna see a ton of him over the next two years even if he isnt the starter.

hell, what if we had kyler against lsu last year? we woulda won that game, some teams are gonna match up against allen to the point where it might make more sense to give kyler a lot of pt.

just my 2 cents.

ALWAYS having a SLIM lead in the 4th quarter is a liability. you guys actually win more close games than not.

offenses also get a lot more aggresive when theyre down in the 4th quarter (lsu may be an exception, lol) and it only takes one wrong move for the other team to score 6 real quick. zone doesnt necessarily mean "prevent".

if i didnt know any better, id say it looked like chavis didnt have much input on the offensive side of the ball. I know thats not true, since he ran the offense too.

ya, chavis totally f'ed the lsu offense during his time in br.

ive never seen such a poor defensive-offensive or offensive-defensive coordinator.

may the best QB win.

yup. it would be nice for allen to start and all, but kyler might be gone after 3 years whether he starts now or later.

gotta go with the best player, whoever that may be.

Peyton obviously played on a great team and was unable to win as big as tee Martin.

im not sure how big his relationships are with anyone he donated to. people that run in those circles all know each other anyway.
the world was a better place tbh.

social media was hardly a "thing" much less a part of most peoples lives.

i was back in college after doing a 4 year stint in the military.(cause my dad woulda whooped my arse when he found out about my grades the first time around)

rc slocum was on his way to being fired which started a bit of a spiral for A&M.

it was the end of the world as those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s knew it.
yeah, im not sure anyone knows what harris' ceiling is right now, but he certainly has the physical tools.

dude could have a whole season like the second half against state last year for all anyone knows.

im all for watching good football.

the spread, 33 stack and variations of, came about to even the balance for teams that couldnt field equal talent, but its been cool to watch them progress and evolve over the years.

i played in the spread offense and a 60 defense in high school back in the early nineties, played rover/monsterman/etc in the 4-2 and coached the 33 stack, which often looked like a 50 or a 3-5 in small college ball.

its all a lot easier to see and appreciate in person, as televised games dont always give us the action at the los.
that kid is lights out, however, i dont expect ufs oline to hold up all season.

if i had to put money on it now, i would say ut. I just think if ufs oline can stay together/healthy, they win it in a close one.
