The type of team that Dan Mullen beats by 30 points or loses by 17 to. Hard to tell.

Or maybe political science

boXerrumble, in answer to your original question, I think Mizzou this year is a team that can hang with any team in the East except Georgia. Since they have been in the SEC, most years they seem to play well or above themselves against Florida and Tennessee, get owned most years by South Carolina and Kentucky, and do about what other teams at their level do against Georgia and Vandy.
They got past one of their normal stumbling blocks yesterday.
I agree with an earlier post, if they get past Kentucky then I think it is quite possible their only conference loss will be against Georgia. For whatever reason they seem to always be tough on the Gators even when they aren't as good. With this year being in Columbia, and in November when Odom tends to have his teams playing well, I would be nervous about that game if I was a Gator fan.

Kansas...a team who hasn’t had a winning season in over 10 years. You probably are an expert on sucking.

I think Mizzous a sleeper to win the East. I think they beat Florida and a one-game scenario could knock off Georgia.
Nobody’s talking about them but they’re playing good ball.

Last time Mizzou was this confusing to figure out they won the East twice.
So better get ready.

They shat the bed against Wyoming, but it was just one of those games where about 5 fluky things have to go just right for them to lose. Fumble that leads directly to a touchdown. Interception when you're on the one-yard line. Fumble when you're on the one-yard line that leads to a run-out and a field goal. Two running plays where you just totally whiffed on guys.
And they were one play from winning anyway. Honestly, it played out a lot like the SC game but the opposite; SC "fumbled" into the end zone, threw a pick 6 from the Mizzou 1; the only difference is they lost by 20 like you're supposed to when stuff goes sideways like that.
They should be ranked about #15-#20, but that's not happening because of the WY loss (which is fair). But if they play like they did against SC (good, but certainly not great), then I think maybe KY, FL and GA can beat them. If they play a very good/great game, I don't think KY or FL can beat them either. If they play like they did at Wyoming, they can lose to just about anyone.

I'm surprised you still come on here chief, every-time I see you post I get ready for a slaughter as I scroll.
I would say don't worry Basketball season is coming soon, but it looks as if shite is about to hit the fan for y'all
good win against BC though... a truly historic moment for your shite program

Wyoming was a complete aberration, so don't draw any conclusions from it.
Defense is very good. Offense is okay. Bryant has good moments followed by a bunch of dumb ones. He's a pretty big drop off from Lock.

This is the usual for us. Lose to a team we should not (Wyoming) will not beat a team we should not (Georgia) and beat the teams we should.
We have Florida at home and that should help us. Kentucky who has been a thorn in our side the last 3 years should be a W.

Only potential L left on the schedule is Georgia which I think will be a beat down for Mizzou.

Just as it was said earlier you seem to have UFs number year in and year out. It also helps that the game is in Columbia in mid November.
98% of the kids on the team have never seen snow and probably will during this game.
Of course it is the state of Missouri, could be 65 degrees or -10 with snow.

Everyone keeps writing y'all off in this game, I don't know if I see it? Sure, we have had your number the last few years... but that doesn't change the fact that you are good this year? Losing franks (as much as it pains me to say, frick him) will become more of a problem as your competition level increases.
But as for the weather, you hit it on the head. Yeah it could suck, could still be 90 tbh, or it could be a beautiful fall day... Missouri weather does what it pleases.

I do not believe this is a very good Mizzou team but the East is relatively weak so we can win 8-9 games.
We have two massive holes on the O-line. An average defensive front can completely block up our run game.
The defense is okay but it hasn't been seriously challenged IMO. Hilinski was obviously hurt.
Bryant's passing accuracy downfield needs to make a massive improvement. In this offense he should be throwing a 65% completion percentage on bad days.
