If you really want to know, I’m happy to answer. A lot of targets are announcing other schools. Pettijohn and Rogers will both announce elsewhere tomorrow. Why aren’t the powers that be at Texas anxious about it? Because they understand that the dynamics in recruiting have totally changed post NIL. July is too early to really be concerned- there is quiet confidence behind the scenes that many of the kids will circle back, especially after another season of play. Stay tuned.

Yeah, it’s like in the 90s when A&M could pay players as much as Texas did. Except now you can’t call the NCAA. Melt. Have fun in this league with that level of recruiting.

Texas will kill A&Ms recruiting once we are in the SEC. LMAO.

Y’all are on full display. Everyone sees it that’s a recruit. And the high school coaches probably didn’t think much of your antics this week either.

Y’all better find a lot more money or you’re gonna lose your arse in this league for a long time.

So how’s A&M doing in the portal transfer rankings compared to Texas?

Recruits saw the Big Orange Party right?

I mean you beat Alabama and you got to play Washington?

Did y’all forget to light the tower when you got to play Washington?

In the SEC and 4th in the sate recruiting wise.

So, how’s Texas going to rule the SEC recruiting 4th in their state?

Maybe show them your stadium uterus.

Sark has never been a closer in recruiting . Sips were even saying that one the first couple years. So Texas amped up the money for 2-3 recruits to help out the past couple of years. And Phil Night decided to not let that tactic work for the guys the sips identified this year.

They pay their QB one and QB two more NIL than mean old bully aggie paid for its entire number one ranked class in NIL money

Having money is one thing, but not knowing how to spend it wisely is another.

you all gave a $77 million dollar buy out to Jimbo Fisher Aggie has wasted more money than any other team in the SEC with zero to show for it.

You spent more than 70 million paying buyouts for Mack, Strong and Hermann. We just chose to get a poor return on one coach, you spread it around but did the same in basically the amount of time

Recruiting now is “putting all the money into 2025 win”, not 2024. Without long term contract, you don’t want put too much money on first year players. You want to spread money on all positions. Spend money to fill the hole on free agent market. Without long term contract you will have less worry about bad free agent signing.

My point is their money put a lot of cash down to win in 2024 and they'll probably come around late to help Sark close a respectable class. Millionaires and billionaires aren't always high on liquidity and financial or legal (tax) reasons may encumber throwing down June and July money after throwing down in January and February.

Truth be told, DFW (McKinney) is a recruiting free for all regarding allegiance to schools.

Those kids have options.

Phil knight just openly gave Oregon a blank check which in fairness and objectivity is a tough battle to fight.

I'm far less worried about Uncle Phil liquidating his assets on high school kids for what few years he has left and focused more on what happens if he leaves a huge chunk of his fortune in a trust with competent people doling it out to top recruits every year after he's gone.

Yes, that's the world's longest run-on sentence, deal with it.

Yes, which will raise the profile of the university. He’s also going to leave a legacy to the athletic program.

You… you do realize that Texas playing in the CFP and finishing No. 3 is better than any a&m team aggies have seen compete in the last 85 years, right?

Why are you trying to make fun of a team that’s better than any aggie team you have ever or will ever see in your entire pathetic life?
