lsu - everyone can downplay them all they want, but harris looked serviceable, at the very least (though i think he's more than serviceable) ... they looked very good, imo ... good for some untimely penalties, as all miles' teams are, however ... they will be very difficult to beat, i believe ...
auburn - jeremy johnson is horrible ... actually went to that game with an auburn friend ... they have no identity whatsoever on offense ... or defense ... needless to say, i will not be invited back to an auburn game ...
arkansas -

Arkansas - I was jumping on the preseason bandwagon thinking they would make a run then

Definitely not Auburn. They are the West Georgia goat-humpers I thought they were.

they still should be jsu by more than a td in ot ... their dline couldn't stop jsu's run game, and their offense had 1 play until the last drive in regulation - a throw to the wr on an out pattern ...

MSST is a lot worse than expected.

A&M- It looks like there is finally some organized pursuit on the defense and the offense is not gimmicky but varied. If they hold true through competition they could take it all.
Bama- All the ingredients and talent is there like usual, but it seems like there is no identity. Vulnerable or possibly great.
LSU- Offense is full of playmakers, Harris looked like he's ready to progress, and defense is penetrating the backfield again. Could be very dangerous or just a developing threat.

Auburn....Johnson is the worst Qb in the Sec. I don't include Vandy in the Sec though.

Actually, the coaching in week #2 was HORRIBLE across the board!!!
I still think Arkansas will be tough, although they did get caught looking ahead.
Auburn and Tenn, they are two very confused teams right now, but I see them getting back on track.
Les Miles just about caused Baton Rouge to go under water!!!
Ole Miss putting up bball scores....
Georgia let Vandy expose some flaws on that defense, struggled offensively throwing the ball (running the ball is not a problem)...
Bama, aTm, Florida, Mizz all took care of business; albeit a bit sluggish in the early going.
SC.......you won't be Kentucky's only victim this year!!! Just wait and see!!!
Overall, very disappointing for SEC standards this past weekend......we'll learn a lot more come Sat.!

No one really.
So far most teams are who we thought they were.
We knew Auburn was probably a year or so away from having a defense worthy of winning the SEC. Nick Marshall was always going to be a loss for those who paid attention to the actual games.
We knew that Arky finished strong in 2014, but having 3-star talent and Bert still in the early stages of his rebuild is not conducive to winning the SEC West in the current environment.
We knew Bama would have a bunch of 5-stars and a game manager QB.
We knew Ole Miss wouldnt miss Bo Wallace's noodle arm too much.
We knew that TAMU with a Sumlin offense and a Chavis defense combined with 5-star talent could be dangerous in the West.
We knew that Dak would have to carry MSU on his back even moreso than last year.
We knew that LSU would have to play ugly to be successful.
We knew that Derek Mason is in over his head despite finding a magical piece of paper.
We knew that unless Evil Richt emerges, UGA is not winning the SEC title.
We knew that the Vols were not back, despite Harvey Updyke's endorsement.
We knew that Spurrier and the Cocks were trending back to the Pre-Spurrier days.
We knew that Kentucky could potentially notch some wins against the weak SEC East.
We knew that Florida would at least try to score TDs this year on offense.
We knew that no one would respect Missouri (again) - yet they continue to take your doubt and wipe their arse with it.

A&M led 28-3 after the 1st quarter and 49-3 at halftime. That's not even remotely close to "sluggish".
The second half was a different story.

I knew Auburn would suck so not Auburn.
Arkansas is the only team that hasn't done pretty much what I thought they would so far. I thought they'd be a very good team that finished 8-4 because of a tough schedule.
I think Kentucky will win 5 SEC games. I like them.

You're right, second half was sluggish.

UGA is much much more stout against the run this season. We have the best linebackers in the conference, it's not really debatable, potentially two first round picks (maybe 3 if Carter pans out) and one of, if not, the best pass rushes to go along with it. The offense didn't do the defense any favors with field position saturday and the passing game is a huge question but UGA will not have a problem with defense this season.
