shite. I wish AU boosters would step in. I think this narrative just gets passed around as gospel. Meanwhile, we’re sitting here disappointed they’re not making moves.

Me too. Roberts is taking his own sweet time.

The narrative that it's out-of-control boosters is a tired one born of the Bobby Lowder years. A lot has changed since then and the situation is not at all the same. It wasn't the all-powerful, always meddling boosters who hired Harsin. A fact ignored because it goes against the narrative of lazy sports writers.

You’re 100% correct. Are their “influencers”, of course. But there is no one like Lowder anymore that is in control.

By you posting something literally over 100 years old?
You really do suck at math.

Amazing that you can't see the hypocrisy in your statement when you complain about Aggies wanting to keep a statue despite the false claims regarding someone who has been dead for 100 years.

Amazing you can't see the hypocrisy when Texas has actively tried to distance themselves from that past. Meanwhile, a&m doubled-down on its hatred and alienation of minorities, including calling student athletes "blackies" when they had the audacity to stand up against a statue of a man nicknamed "negro-killer"

The lack of self-awareness from the aggie fanbase is simply unbelievable

So, you are just going to keep throwing bullshite around as if it was the truth, just like the protesters. Ross was called that by one newspaper reporter, who was just thrilled that his forces decimated a black union unit. Go take your left wing talking points and your dildos and find some Austin freaks who will enjoy both.

So you agree... he was known as "negro-killer". Good to know we're on the same page.

OOOOOOF somebody's triggered. Sorry for reminding you your school values "negro-killer" more than student athletes (or "blackies" as you like to call them), squirt.

Jimbo has zero interference from boosters and a blank check.

The Barn and A&M scenarios are total opposites.

Harsin has boasters interfering while Jimbo remains unchecked.

Not close to the same situation other than both ADs made horrible decisions and should be held accountable.

Probably, if those two switched positions, Harsin would do better in Aggie-land and Jimbo would be better off on the Plains.

Be glad to send them Harsin, but no Jimbo, please.
