If you're happy with 5th in the league and a bid to the tourney, so am I. You're at least adding a little in basketball for us.

If it were me, I'd hold my team to a higher standard after all the trash talking from the Mizzou fans. But that's just me.

Good luck in the dance.

If anyone were arguing against Missouri getting a bid over Alabama, then your comments would be relevant and compelling.

Unfortunately, criticizing Alabama's nonconference schedule doesn't do much to explain why Missouri, who was supposed to come in and teach us how to play basketball, finished so far from the top.

Playing a consistently tough schedule will wear a team down. It's a lot easier to win your conference games, when you've been playing against Directional State for the last 3 months.

But you know, apparently our formula for getting to the postseason is soooo inferior.

I'm going to make a suggestion, and I need you to understand that I make it with nothing but your best interests at heart.

Go frick yourself.

I guess we're all on the same page, then. You're getting in the dance, and you're a mediocre team in the SEC but a lion outside the conference.

No arguments here.

We do hold our team to a higher standard. We should have been no worse than 2nd in the league. We played far below our talent level. (That's not bashing the SEC. I think our league is underrated in basketball.). If Haith repeats this performance next year, his seat will get warm. We're not satisfied with crappy basketball. And we played quite a bit of it this year (on the way to the Tournament).

I'm just tired of fans who apparently follow basketball with the attention span of Boo Radley trying to hold forth on the Rant like they're Greg Anthony.

Just don't ruin it for the SEC and choke again in the tourney against another no name.

Losing to a team that made the tourney is not nearly as embarrassing to the conference as losing to Mercer and Tulane at home you asshat. Look at those 2 games and try to figure out why you're going to the NIT. At home? And you seriously have the nerve to dog Mizzou about anything basketball related. Fricking embarrassment. MERCER!!! TULANE!!!

When you're elected to the selection committee, I'll care. Until then...

Well someone's got to uphold to the conference name on a national level.

Haith is the worst coach in the league, he reminds me of Gottfried.

I think Arky may challenge in the 4th year of rebuilding under SMA. Here's to that.

I agree. You should have finished second in the league this year.

If you feel bad about playing crappy basketball, be thankful you didn't play just a little bit more crappy basketball and you'd be watching the NIT with us.

Missouri is terrible. If they get in it is an embarrassment.
