What SEC teams are improving enough to take out the mighty ducks

Suddenly like USC a lot. Looks like Spurrier has turned USC around and has them playing great on both sides of the ball, right when you thought the Ole ball coach had lost his team he comes out swinging for the fences. If they keep improving, might have them a little ole duck barbecue.
My LSU Tigers proved how well balanced they are, showing off their ground and pound against the no1 rushing D to go along with their bonafide passing attack and no1 advertising promo, the choose Mett for Life aerial display. I can envision a lot of duck gumbos if the defense keeps improving.
I would love me some Alabama but seriously I haven't really seen their offense show up since the Aggie game. Impressed with Bama's improvement defensively but not enough offense to cook up some ducks.

GA would of been a good match up for them?? I think LSU will continue to get better, it's clicking now, everything I've read has said they were just trying to do too much and the GA game came a lil too early! Looks like they get it now, finally listening to the coaches and trusting the scheme/each other! Playing like a team now! Couple that with the new guys we have playing now and going to get more PT (K Beckwith) they should be hitting on all cylinders by Nov. This OM game will be the most complete game IMO. Something like 41-13 final. 4 or 5 sacks and 2 or 3 picks. Mett and those WRs will want to improve with the running game clicking on full auto. Gonna be a good game to watch for one fan base at least

Alabama just posted their highest offensive production I think ever in the Kentucky game. So there's that.

Yeah, it's funny that each year we have to hear crap about these guys but the last 2 times these guys were burning through the PAC-1, they got embarrassed on TV by an SEC school. It will be the same this year. Let them have their fun with their run up the score and cute uniforms. They will fall when they play a team with even half of a defense

Only Bama and LSU stand a ghost of a chance. All other SEC teams would be sent home packing, 56-17 just like the Big Orange.

I'd pick LSU, Bama, and a healthy Georgia over Oregon.
TAMU and USCe would give them a run, but probably come up just short.

The problem with the Ducks is they are too light in the as*. That's why they struggle against a team like Stanford. Just another little bump in the road for a dominant SEC team.
Bama and LSU would manhandle them up front, control the LOS, TOP, and wear their average defense down. Either team rushes for over 200 yards on them, forcing them to bring a safety up, and then AJ and JM would hammer them with the pass. Ga and Carolina would have a pretty good chance for the same reasons.

quote:Love how you're so confident of beating a team you've never even played. Control the TOP all you want. Oregon wins big when we lose the TOP war. We force a turnover or two on you and you're finished. Your offenses are crap compared to ours. And our defense is in the top 20, nothing to sneer at.

Pretty much the same type team that lost to Auburn a few years back. And the Auburn defense was ranked something like fifth that year... in the SEC. That high powered Duck offense put up a whopping 19 points. LMAO
Didn't the Ducks learn anything with that as* whopping LSU gave you?
Same for Texas a few years ago. And Oklahoma as well.
Oregon is simply the next team on the block who thinks they can play with the big boys. And you should really be worried about beating Stanford.
At some point the West Coast will get it. You have to be able to play defense at a high level in order to win championships. And up until now, I haven't seen anything from the Duck defense that says they can play with the big boys. Beat Stanford... who is overrated... and then start asking BCS questions.

The last few games scare me, especially playing at Kneeland and Columbia Jr. Then the last game against Clemson, even tho it's at home, Clemson looks good thus far. I guess we will see what they have against FSU Saturday.

2010 is relevant to 2013 how? The roster is entirely different, big boy. Our QB is a dual threat, nothing at all like Darron Thomas and the defense is improved. We routinely force the most turnovers in the nation. Since the beginning of the 2010 season we've lost only 4 games, 3 of them by a mere field goal. Oregon is already running with the big dogs. Continue playing your weak arse schedule. Beat up on the Colorado States and the Chattanoogas. It won't prepare you for the coming storm.

Over 600 yards against Kentucky. OL is clicking, offense bout to become what it was always supposed to be.

Let's see if the Ducks can actually get through a season unbeaten before we worry about which SEC team can take them down.

Beat Stanford... win the Pac 12 title game... then talk smack. You sound like a Aggie fan. Until you beat the "Big Boys" you will remain a one trick pony.
Weak schedules? That's all you got? I mean outside of Stanford who does the Ducks play that matters? Washington? USC? UCLA? LMAO
Kudos for playing LSU a few years ago. How well did that go? Again... win SOMETHING... then we'll talk some more. Until then, keep your third world abusing sponsor changing them pretty uniforms for you. Enjoy.

Still butt hurt over the last few years? It's ok. LSU is still the only team that can line up with Bama on a consistent basis. The Tigers are well respected.
