Won't happen; only way the streak ends is if the SEC knocks itself out.

This.

I see the SEC knocking itself out of the BCS, almost like this past year before any team outright beats the SEC champ (excluding Bama bc they don't need to win the SEC championship to make it)

I think only Alabama, A&M, Georgia, and Florida have realistic shots at the BCSNCG in January of '13.

LSU has a slight chance but one of the toughest schedules in CFB won't help us. USCe is another darkhorse. Ole Miss is a darker horse.

I can't see Bama or A&M losing in the title game

And if Georgia wins the SECCG for once, they may or may not be hyped for the NCG.

So probably Florida.

USC before us and UG.

If we win the SECCG we're going to be playing for it all

Yes, thanks to the group of BCS Human Poll Voters and Coaches who, after OSU destroyed OU to win the Big 12 CONFERENCE championship, voted OSU FIFTH OR SIXTH.
If all of them had voted OSU 2nd or 3rd, like for example - EVERYONE ELSE THAT VOTED.....then OSU is in the Superdome Jan. 9, not the toothless skoal juice teabagumps.

this seems unlikely. There is only one more year of two teams so unless this year, there is virtually no chance that a conference that has reeled off 8+ in a row wouldn't get in a final 4. Someone is going to eventually have to lose one on the field.

In my opinion, the only way to stop the SEC from winning the championship is to keep them out of it altogether. It really almost happened this year, despite the fact that Alabama would beat all other conference champions

I'm so glad Georgia didn't win the SECCG, the last thing that I wanted to see was Notre Dame going all 'South Carolina' on a lackluster Georgia team and then everyone proclaiming that the SEC is overrated.

It wouldn't have been the beatdown Alabama gave them but I think we could have taken care of business. Notre Dame didn't face a team all year with the kind of speed Alabama and Georgia had.

My thoughts exactly.

The streak will be broken when there's a BCS title game with no SEC team in it. That could be this year. Let's say Bama, TAMU, Georgia, Florida, and LSU all wind up with two losses. There's no way any of them would get in over 1-loss BCS schools from other conferences if those were available.

Honestly, don't be surprised if Oregon vs. Ohio State is this season's BCSNCG.

This.

First SEC school to lose in the game, will be the first to lose it for the SEC.
