I didn't hear Marlon's named mentioned much this Spring. What was his progression like?

I remember watching him run track at conference and later at the state meet. He seemed to just leave the field behind... so fast. I really thought he was going to be an amazing back. Too bad really. Also I don't think Mustain was a bust just the wrong system.

Desmond Jennings (only because he went MLB....freak athlete, but never got a chance to see him on the field for UA)

Now he is the #1 prospect for the Tampa Bay Rays.

'Bama always have great athletes that we miss out on due to the MLB. Brian McCann would have been a Tide member too.

OM: Robert Lane

Other: Steve Gandy - Auburn. Dude was so sick at Wayne County, played against him a few times and always wished him well.

he coached me at the Manning passing academy. One of my all-time favorite SEC qbs. Undersized but gutsy as hell.

Sat next to his family at a couple games. Some of the nicest people I ever met. Like you, I really wanted him to do well. It's too bad he never broke the rotation

Auburn: Kodi Burns as a QB

Alabama: Star Jackson, my bammer buddies said he was going to be better than Mike Vick.

Florida: Brantley

Steve was such a class act on and off the field. Got amped but was never really a show off ya know? Dude packed quite a punch that would knock your dick off.

I thought about listing him, but he was a 1st year starter in the SEC. If he does bad this year, he was definitely a bust.

in my lifetime, he was the only QB that could do anything with the program. He and Ryan Brewer were clutch for USC. Met him one time at a USC baseball game when I was in highschool and he was a nice guy.

That's why you make them play a season in the SEC before you start praising them.

It's a little early, but I expected a lot out of Andre Debose. So many comparisons to Percy Harvin...
