It gives an eyeball view for quick reference.
No offense, but I wasn't going to calculate anything.

Dammit. We'll never get out of Hoover now until we add UNLV to the conference

Unique case for the B1G, Omaha loves baseball and there are tons of UNL fans in the city but it's a horrible location to get to for the rest of their conference...not that it matters, tickets sold are tickets sold...but our equivalent of this would be playing where? BR? NO? ATL? Man would people bitch.

Why? The b10 followed their biggest fanbase and the best facilities. Bama can't even get 4,000 for a night game in Bham. Nebraska has 15k+. Pathetic.
Nebraska has great fans? Why are you bitching at me

I don't understand why it has to be centrally located anyway.
Hoover and the surrounding area can get up off their butts and travel, like everyone else does.
Rotate it.
Everyone wins.

Autozone would be incredible

I mean none of the north schools outside of Nebraska cared at all about baseball (ISU and CU didn't even have teams), and A&M and UT were the only schools that have followings comparable to the top half of the SEC. For how central the location was and how good the surroundings were it should have been much better attended, people just didn't care as much

Now I'm pretty sure that's the Nebraska game.

I'm curious how one team from the hosting state having a large contingent of their fan base show up would make sense to you.
Y'all show up just like that

It's my duty. Unfortunately, I'm likely heading up to Hoover for the weekend.

I felt like the south schools were well represented.
But again, I was with groups of friends, and we always had a great time.
So maybe my perspective was skewed?
Regardless of attendance, I thought it was a great venue.

Hawaii and UNLV as 15 and 16. Tournament rotates between Honululu Vegas and Memphis. Everyone wins

We could call it the Trinity of Elvis

Vegas would be perfect.

On an unrelated note its a crying shame there isn't a major bowl game/venue for it in Vegas

I'm sure your pic was of Nebraska's game which is unique of course seeing as the tournament is in Nebraska.
Illinois vs. Michigan State
...and even some Nebraska games didn't have great attendance. Last year NU vs Ohio State:
