So that's how it works? You make up hypothetical matchups, pick mostly SEC teams, and then claim conference superiority?

How about we look at the actual matchups that have been played?

I said I think UGA is pretty good, although they aren't anywhere near Clemson.

Ok - but that doesn't matter, because Georgia is currently #2 or #3 in the SEC. So how does they compare to #2 or #3 in the ACC?

LSU couldn't even score on Bama, so I don't want to hear about them either.

We aren't comparing LSU to Alabama - we are comparing them to #2 or #3 in the ACC. And how do they compare?

It's hilarious how everytime an SEC team wins an OOC game against a decent opponent they are suddenly a national title contender. Lose and they "didn't care".

Feel free to start a topic about this - it would make more sense. Starting a topic about the ACC being as good as the SEC and then running as fast as you can away from any and all comparisons of teams in the leagues is asinine.

Georgia St.
Wyoming
Memphis

All non P5 teams who have wins against the mighty SEC this year. Did you just choose to ignore those?

Texas A&M is nothing. We beat them with a C effort this past saturday from our offense.

Not that it really matters re: SEC vs. ACC, but has it occurred to you that perhaps the Aggy defense is better than you're giving them credit for?

And to be fair, I think people don't talk enough about Clemson's defense. Clemson gave up fewer yards per play last year than any team save one: Miss State. The early pick six of Tua set the tone for that game.

Not that you deserve fairness with the way you carry yourself around here. Please continue digging your hole here on the SEC Rant. It's amusing.

Because Bama vs. Duke or Cocks vs. UNC doesn't speak to stronger conference.

You suck at life and trolling. Take your crackhead looking Tiger arse to an ACC board where the rest of your sad arse conference foes will slobber on your tiny dick

Argument is not "SEC has bad teams too", we know the answer to that.

You don't judge a conference by it's worst teams imo.

What's amusing is how ya'll ignore the facts.

Clemson destroyed the team that won every SEC game by 3 TD's, bet yet we're supposed to believe that conference is special? LOL.

And again, the record on the field speaks for itself. The ACC has been better head to head in recent history.
Even the last decade is pretty close.

Nothing for you to brag about but you still do.

ON THE FIELD, the ACC has been better in the CFP era. Period.

I've already refuted this with data from mcubed.net.

Two years out of the last 10 the ACC has bested the SEC. This year doesn't count, it's barely two weeks old.

Your best argument is that the ACC is closing the gap. Anything beyond that is not supported by any reasonable argument and is just pure trollery.

The argument you are making has no legs.

You would be better off screaming "FAKE NEWS".

Look Danny Ford, do you really believe the shite that comes out of your mouth? Clemson is a great football team, but you cannot tell me that the top 5 teams in the SEC are not far and away better than the top 5 in the ACC. I take it you are not the least bit nervous about the remaining games on your schedule, but could you answer the same question if you had Auburn, LSU, Florida or Georgia's schedule? I'll give you that the bottom 7 teams in the SEC suck hard at the moment, but the top 7 could beat any of the ACC teams not named Clemson any given week. You know Clemson's schedule is weak as shite.

Danny...your fighting and endless debate. It doesn't matter about which league is better. It really doesn't because right now Clemson is the best. We are the defending national champs and currently number one is the major polls. The rest simply doesn't matter.

The real question to ask to the SEC SEC fans is what has your school make the SEC so good? Bama and UGa are doing the heavy lifting and I see a lot of wantabe's that really haven't done a lot in the playoff era and perhaps since 2010 when Awburn one the natty with rent-a-Cam...

Yep.

I'll do his work for him.

Clemson > Alabama (probably)

Alabama > Virginia
Auburn > Virginia
Florida > Virginia
LSU > Virginia
A&M > Virginia
Georgia > Virginia
Mississippi State > Virginia

Alabama > BC
Auburn > BC
Florida > BC
LSU > BC
A&M > BC
Georgia > BC
Mississippi State > BC

Alabama > UNC
Auburn > UNC
Florida > UNC
LSU > UNC
A&M > UNC
Georgia > UNC
Mississippi State > UNC

Alabama > NC State
Auburn > NC State
Florida > NC State
LSU > NC State
A&M > NC State
Georgia > NC State
Mississippi State > NC State

Alabama > Florida State
Auburn > Florida State
Florida > Florida State
LSU > Florida State
A&M > Florida State
Georgia > Florida State
Mississippi State > Florida State

Ect.

Why?

First, look at the talent:
1. Alabama

3. Georgia

5. LSU
6. Florida State (but look at their coach)

9. Clemson

12. A&M
13. Auburn

15. Tennessee (but look at their coach)
16. Florida

18. Miami

21. Carolina

23. Miss State

25. Ole Miss
26. Arkansas

28. North Carolina
29. Virginia Tech

34. Kentucky

36. NC State

39. Missouri

41. Pitt
42. Duke

44. Louisville
45. Georgia Tech

53. Vanderbilt

59. Virginia
60. Syracuse

66. Boston College

68. Wake Forest

24/7 Team Talent

Our least talented team is more talented than 4 ACC teams.

The second most talented team with a serviceable head coach in the ACC is Miami, who is less talented than SEVEN SEC teams.

The third most talented team with a serviceable head coach is North Carolina, with ELEVEN SEC teams more talented.

So, tell me, DANNY. What are we supposed to think about the ACC v. SEC???

We get to the middle of the season other than Clemson, I don't see many ACC teams ranked. Currently there's only 2. UVA is at #25. By early to mid October ACC fans will be mentally done with football, already camping outside arenas for season basketball tickets.

Yep, why pick and lose a bad argument when Clemson needs no ones validation. I don't get it.

I have given you a mountain of data. You are the one ignoring it.

"Pretty close" means, at best, the ACC is closing the gap. The fact remains that the ACC has bested the SEC in only two years (2014 and 2016) since 2004. It is stupid to extrapolate too much out of the games played thus far in 2019.

If this post came from one of the SEC fans on this list it would be something, buit coming from a Dirt Pecker living vicariously through these other schools it a little pitiful.
