12-1 conference champ would have been in with a win over Clemson.

Miami and UNC were both 11-1 the year the played in the ACC championship game.
UNC was #10, Ohio State would have taken Clemsons place that year
Miami was#11, a B1G team would have taken Clemson's place that year

Only in your delusion but the reality is only CU has had a chance from the ACC. And everyone outside of the ACC knows and probably most in it. Again I know you really want write this narrative but neither had a chance.

Miami was 7th. They were the 2nd ACC team in the top 4 with Clemson until losing to Pitt their last game.
Pretty much everybody considered that game and the one with 11-1 UNC a playin game except you, Finebaum, and Booger McFarland.

Booger said Bentley was better than Watson. Booger was a good player and I liked him as a player but probably needs to stick to making less predictions.

You are such a putz.
B1G has not put a team into the MNC championship game since at least 1998 when it started that was not named Ohio State. The whole CFP was set up to get a B1G school back into the MNC discussion. Jim Delany has more to do with the B1G getting a spot and not Fienbaum or Booger.
Instead of trolling all the time, you should be bitching at the B1G when a secondary ACC team is not considered for a CFP spot. Delany argued for years the CCG should matter till Penn State won it and they sent Ohio State instead. As much as folks bitch about the B12, they really have the worst Stockhom Syndrome in the B1G. Poor Penn Sate and Nebraska were brands before they joined.

Penn State didn’t have much choice though. Independents were a going by the wayside. Nebraska though should have stayed where they were. IMO

Off all arguments this is awful.
Sidebar- I think you guys got a good one in Satterfield. Seems like a great coach. Fun to watch as well.

When they went to 11 and kept the name "Big 10" you know they were gonna screw over Penn State. Nebraska joined and the first thing their B1G partners did was kick them out of the AAU.

I will give the ACC full credit for comping out of realignment stronger than when they went in. Part of that is ESPN owning the ACC and SEC and not wanting FOX in that henhouse, but the bigger part was the ACC scooping Louisville and Pittsburgh while the B12 pulled their pud. If the B12 adds Pitt and UL as soon as Nebraska and Colorado bolted then they would have a foothold in the east (UL + WVU + Pitt + ????) instead of putting WUV out as an island all by themselves and letting the ACC get stronger instead of weaker. Very poor strategy by the B12.
When the ACC finally lands Notre Dame full time in the next decade or two they will have made the 2nd or 3rd strongest conference from a ACC that was on death watch in 2010. Ohio is one of the best recruiting states and Ohio State has kept that all to themselves for years. Louisville and Notre Dame in the ACC and Stoops at Kentucky are starting to break up that monopoly.

When you let Texas dictate how money was being distributed from TV I am surprised more did not leave.

Did I say Pitt? I clearly named the two teams that would have been in the playoffs had they beaten Clemson.
Learn to read before you post.
And, you clearly are a fricking moron if you think a 3-4 loss ACC team is getting a CFP spot.
Learn to think.

ACC isn’t better than the MWC.

That 2015 11-1 UNC team was definitely headed to the Playoffs had it beaten Clemson. I watched 100% of the coverage (UNC rarely is in the national discussion in football so I ate it up), and almost 100% of the experts/commentators said UNC would make the playoffs if it beat Clemson.
But alas...UNC was a bad end of the game off sides call from having a legitimate shot at the Playoffs.
