Please. Come on,man. If you want to dog Auburn sports,go for it. But don't carry on like Alabama is Harvard and Auburn is DeVry.

Don't hate Aub or UT, but the color orange makes me violently ill. Rocky Top is the most god awful song imaginable and they play it for everything. And as for Aub it's already been well covered in this thread.

It could be anything. Yes sports is included in that but also rankings of any kind.

Sorry, calling Dye a drunk while ignoring Coach Bryant's well known affinity for booze is lame.

Can we leave the booze thing alone? I, for one, would love to quaff a few beverages with the two gentlemen.

Turns out it was Arkansas not Tennessee that turned Bama in... but IDC if you hate UT for other reasons

I've heard that, but I don't believe Fulmer wasn't involved at all. He skipped some press conference in Birmingham because of it, right?

Personally I figure the years it will take to recover from Kiffin are punishment enough

What do you think of Dooley? Because if he's capable of doing the job, the recovery period will be over soon. Not firing Fulmer after 2005 seems to have been plenty of punishment, anyways.

I dont really hate them, I just don't really understand them. The majority of them are poor, and yet it's as if they take pride in it.

Totally agree. I would imagine having both of them together and a couple a bottles of bourbon would be freaking awesome.

Throw in a couple of Remington 1100's for good measure...

Alabama-More success than Tennessee and they gave us Bill Battle. Also disliked Saban before he arrived in Tuscaloosa.

Florida-Don't know much about football pre-1990, and don't realize that having a good recruiting base doesn't guarantee excellence.
