Keep in mind, LSU is expecting some more good news about at least one player.
And possibly two more players.
I’m picking LSU to be #1 in the SEC.
I don’t follow any of your programs.

Yep. Isn’t it great No more years where the league got two teams in the NCAA tournament

Arkansas and Bama at the top, in some order. Followed by group 2 of Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn.

Thank God. I love having the conference be competitive in basketball.

Next year will be the pinaccle, IMHO
- Full arenas again
- Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU fanbases will all be revved up for their programs/teams
- Tennessee will be very good and TBA packed as it has been for years now
- Kentucky fans will be rabid after last season with a new and pretty good looking roster
- State, Ole Miss, Florida
What's going to be interesting is seeing how some of the teams who lost players and didn't really replace them turn out. Feels like they could be 8-9 teams that all beat the hell out of each other and then 3-4 teams (Mizzou, UofSC, UGA,) that struggle to win many games.

Yeah, how about the year 2009 when LSU won the league and was an 8 seed. I think that year only 2 teams got in the NCAA tournament. Since Bruce Pearl went to Auburn, everybody put money into their programs, coaches, and facilities. This is great

I know why it happens - because this board and social media, in general, is all about e-confrontation and all that, but it perplexes me when people get mad and pissed off about other teams in the league being good in basketball.
In football I get it - it's a zero-sum game. In basketball, it is basically the opposite.

Same. Since I was old enough go understand what was going on, my dad and his friends always told me that you want the SEC teams to win to make your schedule look that much better. I guess I will never get passed that. It's what I was raised on.

Yea it doesn't make any sense. LSU, Arkansas and Auburn being really good is good for Alabama. It means that wins at home and on the road vs those teams are valuable and it means that losses to those teams don't hurt you.
It's how you get 10 teams into the NCAAT, which I'm pretty sure is everyone's goal.

I guess the SEC being down benefits other conferences. They get more teams in the tournament. ACC, Big Ten, PAC 12. Now those slots will go SEC.

Sounds like Wade finally ordered that book entitled, "Defense For Dummies."
Let's hope he's not completely overwhelmed by the concepts.

We badly need to all come out strong to start the season and win some of the big OOC games.
That has been our boogeyman as a league for the last few years. We've generally played well in the SEC/BigXII and we've held our own in the tournament itself, but we've struggled in the OOC schedule as a league as as whole - even with teams that figured it out and were good by the time conference play started.

Yep totally agree. Big wins early means better seeded teams.

With a new 5 star Center and new 5 star Point Guard...sounds about right.

Nba still going on. Been nice having a couple Auburn players to watch, finally. Okoro and Okeke are both going to develop really nicely
