I know he's trolling, but our real reason is lack of a running game. in the 24-20 loss ( 
) Knile Davis wasn't our starter and last year, he was obviously injured. Not being able to play Bama's game has hurt the Hogs the past two years. There was no such thing as running the clock out for last year's team. Should change this year with the return of Davis and a much improved O-Line.

H). Petrino was too busy texting Jessica. We didn't have Bequette. Marquel Wade was too busy voluteering at local charities to show any production.

I really think that part of the reason for the problems Arky has with Bama is the fact that they play each other so early.
Arky is a team that seems to get better as the season progresses.
I think if the Bama and LSU games for Arky were switched, it would be LSU with the long streak and a more competitive series with Alabama.
As an Alabama fan, I'm happy with it. lol

Saying defense is the problem is taking the easy way out. It's obvious with every opponent Bama plays. They wear you down over the course of the game. If you can't run the ball, your defense will be on the field WAY too much for you to be effective against Alabama later in the game. Arkansas' defense was fine. They just ran out of gas at the end of the game due to LACK OF A RUNNING GAME.

I heard part of the compromise we're working on would be to play aTm at the end of the year and open the season with Arkansas so Arky can keep their big national game with us. And no I'm not joking.

I'd rather play both Bama and LSU later in the season. BamaChick was right. Arkansas hits stride later in the season. I personally think that's why we've had more success against LSU than Alabama recently.
