A very good coach who has some serious personality flaws. I wouldn't leave Ole Miss for the insanity of LSU. One job has managed expectations while the other is as high stress as any job in the country.

Without actually knowing him and basing my opinion purely on what I see on tv, he seems like a prick.

He will never win a Natty at Ole Miss. That’s more of a knock on Ole Miss than Lane.

Les Miles and Ed Orgeron won a natty at LSU. How are they thought of today? I'll tell you. People see them as hacks that rode on the back of the LSU brand. Winning a Natty at LSU doesn't mean shite.

Winning a Natty at Ole Miss would have him revered forever.

We have a better chance this year than LSU, Sparky.

The next big game he wins will be his first.

We probably won't, considering this was a rebuilding year, but my point still stands.

You can go to LSU, win a Natty, get fired a few years later and still be considered a fricking joke.

Have made numerous posts about the mealy mouthed snake of a man over the last week or so. Happy to answer any specific questions though.

I am talking about from a coaching standpoint. Les Miles and Ed Orgeron both won Natties at LSU and they are both considered clowns, if not by LSU fans, by everyone else in the college football world.

honestly, I think the guy just enjoys chaos. I don't think he's ever left a job on good terms even when things are going relatively well. At some point you burn enough bridges that you become radio active. LSU seems happy enough to hitch their wagon to him, but if things go south, I don't think he is prepared for the level of viciousness and animosity tiger fans are going to unleash upon him. For better or worse, LSU fans are a different breed. I personally don't think he lasts very long there.because he simply can't help himself

Only took you 64 years. However, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s not going to win a Natty at Ole Miss.

By kids in the locker room, do you mean grown men earning wages and benefits at a job of their choosing?

Kiffin doesn't have the mental discipline or grit in his gut to be a truly good man. If you cant be a good man you can't be a great coach.

He is more fully aware of the consequences than you likely are. Kiffin had fans of Tennessee and students literally surround the football complex building he was in while wielding pitchforks and other assorted weapons when he left there.

He and his family had to have police escorts to escape the campus and the town due to students and fans also arriving at his home.

Here:

are students burning a mattress as they begin to forumulate plans to attack and murder Kiffin for deciding to leave them.

Their home was being bombarded with thrown objects and it was just a matter of time before the mob overran the defenses and slaughtered them.

Here:

they are burning their Tennessee gear as they gin up the mob vibes getting ready to harm him and his family.

In the image below, they try to burst into the press conference Kiffin was giving to announce his departure. They would have literally tore him to shreds.

Here is Kiffin looking afraid and pensive knowing that his life was in extreme peril.

And lastly, here is the rabid mob as they spread out to find him. Many would leave here and try to get to him at the airport before he and Layla and their two young daughters and infant son barely escaped with their lives.

Skeezy.

Dude has probably been with multiple underage girls. No telling the amount venereal diseases he’s spread.

Great offensive mind but seems like a horrible person with no loyalty to anyone but himself. He’s the ultimate mercenary in an age of mercenaries. He will win you football games but just observing how he handled last year’s team and how he’s handling this season makes me think he will never win it all.

He thinks the reasons he fails are external when it’s always been his own fault. Running off Judkins and not taking points with an elite defense last season are glaring examples of Lane beating Lane.
