What is it with SEC teams losing as 2 seeds?

Probably has something to do with it being the NCAA tournament where no teams “suck” and underdogs have everything to win and nothing to lose.

Mizzou was still in the Big 12.
And I don't think Coppin State has even made the tourney again since 97.
