Back in 86 we stormed Auburn's field and tore up their midfield logo, stomped on it, and didn't leave until they hosed us down.

You're absolutely correct - now THAT is disrespecting your opponent after a win on his home field.

Funny thing is, nearly 3 decades later its the UGa fans that are still pissed off about it..."how dare they turn the hoses on us!"

i'm sure if our players and coaches had rolled the Toomer's Trees with purple and gold toilet paper after beating you one of these years before they got poisoned no Auburn fans would have been bothered in the slightest

I could care less about that game.

The 2006 game we got completely robbed of on the other hand...

it's possible than auburn people just don't care about their school as much as we do and as such many of you are incapable of comprehending it.

How is this even relevant? At that point you're mocking an AU tradition. Surely you have enough cognitive function to decipher the difference?

Lighting up cigars after the game for a photo op with the field in the back drop after the fans have left, big fricking deal.

Didn't realize your fan celebration was to go smoke cigars on the field after wins

Stop being such a pussy

The only difference is because we're talking about LSU and not Auburn you don't give a frick. That field and that stadium are a huge part of us, moreso than most other places, and it was definitely mocking our "tradition" so to speak.

I'm pretty sure you know I do, we've had several arguments about this.

On that note, I'll exit this thread.

See, Auburn people just don't get it, and that's fine. I realized that. Y'all wanted to know why so I told you. You don't have to like it or understand it or anything but it is what it is and there's nothing you can say or do that's going to change it.

The stadium! The delicious grass! It's sacred to us! You just don't understand!

You think you're special. That's cute but it still provides no good reason to act like whiney little girls over every little injustice you think has occurred
