Where is Lamar now vs Johnny

If Reggie Bush played today he'd get to keep his Heisman and wear #5 in the NFL

Did he? How many players before him won the award just for being on Alabama’s roster?
Well, how many years was there no clear leader in the Heisman race…and by that, I mean no one standing out, and alabana was in contention for the Title?
09 and 21
I didn’t post about Henry Bc he clearly deserved it…can’t be said about 09/21
Why you mad, bro?

Are you going to edit this part you were wrong about?

This is incorrect, and this scenario actually occurred after Manziel left College Station. Lamar Jackson won the Heisman Trophy in 2016; he returned in 2017 and led Louisville to an 8-5 record.
Also, although Sam Bradford was injured for much of 2009, the Sooners didn't win 10 games that season.
Shhhhh, dont let his blind hate of A&M get in the way of facts.
Picking one game performance as a determination of a sesason long award is dumb, but I wouldnt exepct any different from said poster. JFF for all his off the field faults and poor carrer post college absolutely earned that trophy that year and his stats prove it.
Speaking of his sophmore year, while the win/loss record was worse, his stats were actually better so one could argue he couldve earned it a second time....

There is nothing incorrect about what I said.
In 2016, Lamar Jackson won the Heisman. In 2017, he returned and Louisville went 8-5. The same is true for Manziel and A&M. They won 11 games in 2012, when he won the Heisman, and 9 in 2013.
However, your original post stated Manziel was the only Heisman winner this had ever happened to, and that's verifiably incorrect.
After I pointed out you were wrong, you edited your post to state Manziel was the only SEC Heisman winner that situation had ever happened to.
Don't get upset at me because you posted some incorrect bullshite, I called you out on it, and then you edited your original post after you realized you were wrong.

The fact is that Johnny Manziel's team failed to win 10 games with him at QB the year after he won the Heisman.
It's so fun to watch Aggy and Old Piss fans come together as the most historical jokes of the SEC.

It's ok, he will hold on to the fact that Johnny had his worst two games in college vs LSU like its some kind of trophy, as evidenced by the graph he posted. Like any A&M fans care about that vs the fact that he won the heisman he clearly deserved that year

Ingram won the Heisman for being on alabana, not Bc he was the best player in CFB…same if Young wins it this year.
Young is clearly the best offensive player.
Ingram's stats were great and he was sharing carries with Trent Richardson. Richardson took 145 carries from Ingram's total. Richardson had 751 yards, averaged 5.2 yards per carry. Richardson, as good as he was as a freshman, averaged nearly a full yard per carry less than Ingram. You boys are just trying to cope. Ingram was amazing. Plus, McElroy couldn't throw for shite to help open things up. Ingram did a lot of what he did against stacked fronts and yards after contact. His 2009 stats below:
271 car, 1658 yds, 6.1 avg, 17 TDS
32 rec, 334 yds, 10.4 per, 3 TDS
303 touches, 1992 YFS, 6.6 yards per touch, 20 TDS

You have a valid argument for 2009 in regards to the Heisman Trophy. However you can’t say the same thing about 2021. Bryce Young completely distanced himself from the field in the final two weeks of the season. It was close before then. Young will win it in a landslide.

The NCAA was caught red-handed selling jerseys directly related to players still in school in their official store. Jay Bilas publicly called them out. If they had taken away Manziel's Heisman, they would have left themselves vulnerable to a RICO suit.

The difference is that A&M's offensive numbers actually went UP in 2013 from 2012.
The problem was that the defense in 2013 was historically bad.
2012 defense vs. 2013 defense
Rush Defense
2012 - 35th
2013 - 110th
Pass Defense
2012 - 86th
2013 - 95th
Total Defense
2012 - 57th
2013 - 109th
Scoring Defense
2012 - 26th
2013 - 95th

Sure I can
He’s not the best player in CFB, he’s not the best QB. In a year similar to 09, He is on alabana which is in contention. If he has the exact numbers on another team or alabana not in contention, he’s not mentioned. It’s not a knock on him, just reality of the situation, it’s an odd year

Mike Evans is also 30-40% of the reason, minimum, he won.
People always say this but they’re thinking of 2013. Evans averaged about 85 YPG in 2012. He accounted for 1100 of Manziel’s 5100 yards.
Manziel was very lucky not to have more turnovers with his chaotic style of play. But he still led the nation in total offensive yards by almost 20 more yards per game than no.2. He also led the SEC in rushing yards and TDs despite being a QB. And his team was ranked top 10.
Outside of him, it was a pretty weak year for the Heisman. That’s why Manti Te’o finished no.2. He would’ve become the first pure defensive player to win the Heisman had A&M lost to Bama.
