Are you trying to say that 52% of black players went to the NFL
No i am saying that 52% of all AU's black players were not kicked out or forced out, like you are implying.
Aubrey Phillips, for example, left on his own accord for medical reasons.
Quinton Groves was drafted.
Patrick Trahan transferred to OM.
When the majority of your team is black, there are going to be sweked numbers.
100% of white AU palyer graduating is amazingly high but when there are about 15 white players on teh team...it not a huge feat to accomplish.

Smart kid.
You named a player that Nick Saban informed that he may have to greyshirt and the player said no thanks.
Smart kid? I guess we'll see how far he goes in the UK program.....

Some of you 'Bama guys are the most insecure, jealous people I've ever seen. The Birmingham News is more of a homer paper for Alabama than the Tuscaloosa News is.It just kills y'all that there is actually one member of the Birmingham media (Scarbinsky) who doesn't kiss Saban's behind.
Don't Rick Karle, the entire staff at 42, Finebaum, JOX and Don Hawes on 13 fluff his pillows and paint his toenails enough for you ? Even News' columnist have to kiss his arse ? That's what Kausler is for. His love letter to Nick in the Hot Corner this morning was quite touching.
I can agree with this. I've never understood some Alabama fans take on the Alabama media. It's very pro-Alabama. Scarbinsky is just a Finebaum wannbe, but it doesn't help that he was an Auburn beat writer for a while.

This issue will fade over the next two signing classes. Alabama has 22 or more seniors over the next two years, plus early entrees to the draft. Even signing the SEC's limit of 28 won't be much of an issue.

40% of Bama black players dont graduate?
Not sure i would be pointing fingers.
You crossed through Arky but they look like 55% dont graduate.

I fully agree as well. Auburn is getting "more" positive in-state press because they had, by far, the better season. It's not some state-wide media smear campaign against Alabama. The conspiracy theory nutters just keep harping on the fact that the EIC (or is she only over the sports division) of the Birmingham News is an Auburn grad.

Are you sure it was true medical reasons and they didn't just want his spot?
Trahan, forced to go to another school. ok
In case you haven't noticed, about 100 or more NCAA teams have predominately black athletes, but only one had a larger discrepency in graduation rates. Auburn was 2nd in the nation at 51%. Again, I say.. it's easy to keep oversigning AND keep them all on the roster when you're kicking a certain group to the curb as much as your team does.

Not sure where yo ugot that number when the image you should had at least two with a low rate..Arky and Oregon. I counted 7 total from bowl teams.
The link provided showed more.
YO ucan keep think AU has some form of plantation mentality but your numbers are wrong.

How many people who play on medical scholarship would have careers in football after college? In that case, the chance to play football is a means to get an education. If the education is still offered, but you aren't good enough to play for the team, what is the beef?

You don't comprehend well. Au had the 2nd highest DISCREPENCY (this means difference between white and black graduates) in the nation at 51%.

It wasn't just the graduation rate of Auburn's black athletes that got AU raked over the coals, it was the disparity (51%) between the black players and white players. Even though you had a higher percentage of black players graduate than, say, Arkansas, the gap at Arkansas was only 34%.
To a certain extent this isn't entirely fair, because, for whatever reasons, you guys have done an excellent job at making sure that the white players graduate on time which has only served to inflate the disparity.

I don't see the huge deal. We've had a few guys get graduate degrees out of it. Still others have stayed on to get their bachelors, and some of those were hired as support staff within the football program.

Alabama is good and has beaten Au 2 of the last 3 yrs and likely will this coming year pretty bad.

My bad...you changed your tune and i didnt follow.
Maybe we should aim to be more like Oklahoma that only has 3% discrepancy.

I've not changed anything. You've just had a poor comprehending capacity in this thread. Going back to naming one player at UA who was forced to take a grayshirt.
