I agree I just figure Ark has to find one of those sooner or later.

Auburn does that, they'll make a championship run

I am hoping that by the time they get the defense to do that we wont be suckling at the teet in the secondary.

For LSU, 10-3 including wins over Ole Miss and either Florida or Bama = acceptable

9-4 with losses to those three and bowl game = unacceptable

10-3 with losses to those three and win in bowl game = meh (depends on who we beat in the bowl and by how much)

should be but they are replacing 3 starters on the OL
No we are not... We are replacing 2 on the OL. One of those had all but lost his job at the end of last season and the other underperformed all year and is being replaced by a guy who has been a two year starter at another OL position. Our OL will be improved...

and there entire front 7 oon defense.
Nevis was a starter at DT and he is back. Edwards was a part-time starter at DE and he is only a Rs-sophomore. Not to mention, Brockers, Livingston and Downs all got playing time and are back and we have some young stud DE's that have been waiting to get on the field. Also, our middle LB is back in Sheppard. Our D will be much faster and in the second year under new coaching. I think they will be improved. The talent is there.

thats never been the question at LSU I knew Nevis and Shepard were back although I didnt realize Nevis started, but yall are still replacing 2 LB and the rest of your DL. Also arent yall replacing your C(Hebert lost his job), LG(Hitt) and LT(Black). So where was I incorrect thats 3 OL is it not?

I see us with 6-7 wins and a bowl which is fine for year two of rebuilding. We could do some damage in 11-12.

Florida has no excuses not to win the East this year.

I know a lot of people on the outside think it'll be a down year, but for those of us that follow UF football closely, we know Florida has a strong team in 2010 in a relatively weak division.

So 9-3 is fine, as long as it's good enough to win the east. But really, looking at the schedule, UF should be favored in every game but 1, and anything more than 1 upset next year would be disappointing.

Hebert lost his job at the end of last season and into spring. Is that not an upgrade if a guy is still on the team but lost his job to another player? I guess you can say it's a new starter but last years starter will be available. I would say this is a better depth situation...

gotcha, who replaced him and what took them so long?

PJ Lonergan replaced him. He is a much bigger and stronger player. The spring weight-lifting numbers came out today and Lonergan was at the top of all the lifts...I guess the coaches took a while because he is a younger player and the center has to make all the line blocking calls. He had to earn the trust I suppose.

I try not to pick on these kids but Hebert was horrible. He may have been worse than Capps at Bama.

11 wins and a trip to Atlanta. Anything less will be a disappointment this year.

That depends a ton on QB play. They kicked their best QB off the team, though.

Not to hijack the thread, but this is just wrong. Murray was definitely the best QB on the roster prior to Mettenberger getting the boot.

As for expectations, if we don't win 10 games this year with our schedule and finish AT LEAST in a tie for the east then i'm disappointed.
