I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC West champion had three conference losses going into the SECCG.

I'm having trouble deciding who is going to win it. Alabama lost 9 offensive starters, but Arkansas is going to lose some games with that crap defense. Auburn should be good. LSU should be good.

LSU is going to be slowed down by Miles, and Auburn just isn't deep enough and isn't on the same level of coaching as Bama.

Should be an interesting year.

9-3. Citrus Bowl.

And yes, I do recognize that would tie for the second best season ever -- and best bowl game ever.

Don't give me any of this "Gamecock fans are satisfied with mediocrity" BS.

For that matter, don't give me any of that "Delusional Gamecock fan thinks his team is going 9-3" BS either.

Fail

We return nine offensive starters. We lost eight on defense.

defensive starters abd the ones on the DL rotated in last yr

LSU should be good

should be but they are replacing 3 starters on the OL and there entire front 7 oon defense.

If I had to pick logically I would say Bama but Auburn and Ark may turn a lot of heads. LSU will not sneak up on anyone everyone is aware of their talent and they never get overlooked.

typo, guys.

I meant to say defense.
I know the defense is going to still be very solid, and likely more talented, but losing the experience is gonna hurt in an up-year in the SEC.

No. We return 9 offensive starters, on a team that averaged 32 ppg, and that was with some bad games in the middle of the season. The offense will be dang good this year.

So, now that Alabama might not have a undefeated regular season, it's an "up-year", huh?

agree I just dont know how UP the sec is. Fla has ?, LSU has ?, SC should be solid, OM has ?, Auburn should be better and Ark has to be better, it kind of just seems we are switching out teams

Yes

Kelvin Sheppard, not Russell.

Levingston played end, and Nevis played next to Al Woods at tackle.

I don't think you know as much about LSU as you are trying to say you do

nevis and sheppard?

sheppard led the team in tackles and might be one of the best LBs in teh SEC this year, nevis led the DL in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks

Ill kind of give you my opinion of the teams around the conference.

Bama- slightly down from last year
Florida- moderately down from last year
LSU- even to slightly up from last year
Arkansas- slightly up from last year
South Carolina- slightly to moderately up from last year
Georgia- slightly to moderately up from last year
Auburn- slightly up from last year
Miss. St- moderately to significantly up from last year
Ole Miss- moderately to slightly down from last season.
Vandy- About the same
Kentucky- About the same
Tennessee- moderately to severely down

4 teams down (Alabama and Florida being two of them)

6 teams up.

two teams the same.

With the teams at the top being down a little bit, and almost everybody else up, you're looking at a much more competitive conference.

I think there is a good chance bama ends up in atlanta. I highly doubt they end up there without suffering a loss or two, though.

That depends a ton on QB play. They kicked their best QB off the team, though.

oh no I never said nor meant that 2-3 is acceptable, I was just referring to the idea that the SEC will be up, I just see alot of question marks for a lot of teams and most of LSu come on the lines. Our secondary has a new starter at every position except one. That is why I said the two teams that will turn heads will be Auburn and Arkansas.

Auburn or Arkansas. Both retuning most of their players and Cam Newton(although he make bad reads) has to be better than Todd who wasnt horrible but doesnt have the athletic ability that Newton does.

It's pretty much proven that you have to play Defense to be an elite team in the SEC.

When Arkansas or Auburn does that, they'll make a championship run.

I think LSU is more likely to win the west than Auburn or Arkansas.
