LSU Baseball is to college baseball what Alabama has been to college football. The program will always be synonymous with Skip Bertman. He was y’all Paul Bear Bryant. And although other coaches have won a NC similar to Stallings at Alabama you now have a coach that has won multiple in Johnson. He is your baseball equivalent to Nick Saban. He will win more there as well assuming he doesn’t jump ship for MLB or some other school that throws a ridiculous amount of money at him. As good as LSU football program has been the last 25yrs it pales in comparison to the baseball program because LSU unlike other schools will never sacrifice their baseball program to the benefit of its football program.
