Given that guard play has been inconsistent at best this year, would the addition of Sexton made this a championship team?

Sexton is not that good.. he isnt a team player and has hurt the chemistry on the Bama team.. They played better with him out. He is all about himself and just wants to get to the NBA and make sports center highlights.. He isnt a TOP 10 draft pick at all

Cant wait to beat his arse in Auburn

I understand he was signing with Kansas if he didn't sign with Alabama.

But to answer, I don't think he makes a big difference for Kentucky.

Not a team player my arse...Kid was actively engaged and encouraging guys Even when he was hurt. Just because you're an ignorant Frick doesn't mean you're right. I guess u know more than countless scouts who have him as a sure lottery pick, but keep up the dumb arse argument barner.

Lol at bammers getting angry and defensive over their shite basketball program. Enjoy the NIT. It will be the highlight of this and every year with a loser like Avery Johnson as the coach

Listen, I get Alabama's basketball program isn't upper echelon and is inconsistent. But, to say Collin Sexton isn't good is a dumbass statement.

I think Sexton is phenomenal. But as far as making a big difference for Kentucky, I really don't see that.

There's no doubt he's made a big difference for Alabama. If State had any player that could shoot half as well as him, we would be in good shape.

Knowing we lost to Bama without him tells me all I need to know about the sad state of MSU. Not to say Bama outside of him isn't good. But getting blown out like that just shows how far away State is and it's sad. We are probably the only SEC Team that hasn't made a NCAA Tournament this decade. And quite frankly I doubt we do at this point.

Stricklin ruined MSU Basketball. What a mess.

This question should be, what if Kentucky had signed Trae Young. We were in his top 3 and if he doesn’t go to the hometown school there’s a solid chance he’s in Lexington.

The question is what if we signed Bamba? That is what we are really missing on this team.

He came here so maybe its good for us but I don't like this one and done attitude. They just should let him and guys like him go pro.

Sexton has been very inconsistent. He was garbage against us (LSU). Had 9 turnovers.

Edit - Not saying he isn't good, but responding to OP about consistency. Sexton has been one of the wilder players this season, i.e. inconsistent.
