What happens if Mississippi State loses to Tennessee this weekend?

They'd sit at 3-3 (1-2) in the SEC. Their next 4 games are vs #5 LSU, @ #24 A&M, @ Arkansas, vs #1 Alabama. They could easily enter the Egg Bowl sitting at 5-6.
If Moorhead goes 6-6 or 5-7 and that includes a loss to Ole Miss.........is he still in Starkville next year?

No we will fire a 2nd year head coach, who has 10 players suspended for 8 games,for a 6-6 season. Sounds logical..............................

yes. Dan F***ed us on depth chart management. We are trying to recover from that and the last thing we need is coaching turnover.

You've done nothing but shift all accountability for MS St.'s season to a guy who has lived in FL for over a year now. It's not that complicated.

when you are playing 10 freshman regularly it is roster mismanagement.
If Dan were managing a portfolio of expiring loans or securities he would have been fired. He dropped the ball. His clients missed out on gains. He had 10 rosters spots open at one point and regularly undersigned. We are currently reconstructing the portfolio and still have some bad investments we are waiting to roll off the books.

I agree. That was my biggest issue with Dan and why i'm happy he is gone. It is Jimmy and Joes not X's and O's.

You don't fire the guy that finished 4th in the SEC West last year. Mullen finished 4th or 5th in the West eight out of nine years.
