I would be happy if Vandy limited the horns to a "Charlie Strong" of offense per half. Now that would be a flashback.

Physical beatdown? Yes. Hence where I said “if Texas’ OL showed up” in a response to show how stupid that guy sounded.

In all reality y’all are acting like it wasn’t a 15-23 ballgame in the third with UGA backed up on their 10 yard line with a 3rd and 10. If Texas gets that stop, there’s a good chance they score and it’s tied or a 1 point ballgame.

The refs are the only reason Texas scored at all. I will say it again. 38 Total yards before the refs got involved in the game.

I can see it now:

“The refs made sure Texas beat A&M”

I'm just telling you what it looked like to the rest us. I know it's pointless to argue about because your still viewing it through orange tint. It is what it is.

Yes, that is possible. I don’t think it would be the only reason. We have significant weaknesses.

But you always have to beat both UTrans and the refs. Nothing has changed in that respect

That would be 22 Charlie Strongs.

Half the people in the game thread were making fun of Georgia because they thought they were gonna pull a “Bama”.

I know it’s pointless to argue with you, but I’ll indulge you for a second. If the refs were helping Texas, they wouldn’t have thrown a flag on the 70 yard kick return. They wouldn’t have thrown a flag to initially call PI on the INT. They would have thrown a flag on the RT holding Simmons on that 3rd and 10 from their own 10.

They also could've called holding calls on Georgia and didn't throw a single flag for one.

Vandy gets disrespected on this board and it is deserved. The leftist administrators have run our athletic program in the ground and made it a joke. But make no mistake, Vanderbilt has all the assets at its fingertips to become a powerhouse. The stadium is undergoing a 300 million facelift and our current football program is much improved. Perhaps things are changing. Either way, the current environment is good and Texas comes to our house. There will be no blowout if that’s what the Longhorn’s and the Rant believe.

The only two holding calls in the game were on Texas during special teams.

Normal order will be restored and the realignment of SEC power will be complete.

Next question, please.

Dude, take the win. Every other SEC fan is rooting for Pavia and the Dores to go in dry on Texass.

And if Texas’ offensive line showed up last night we win…. See how stupid that sounds?
After a rewatch they didn't play terribly at all, but our TE's and RB's struggled in max protect. Thing is they weren't calling holding on the line last night for either side, we got away with some and Georgia did as well.

Georgia gave our O-line more trouble than any other team so far, but beyond the issues with max protect already mentioned, Quinn wasn't helping them out much..hanging on to the ball too long and not seeing open receivers like he was pre-injury.

This may be a dumb idea, but I'd like to see Arch start until Quinn's injury is 100% healed and he isn't playing to protect himself. He got rocked pretty good on a blitz Saturday...wouldn't be surprised if that reinjured something.

We are prepared. We will have a running game so it can’t be denied. You can dispute catches. You can’t dispute it when they run it into the end zone. We already are planning to run the ball like crazy. It won’t be any doubt. We will run it straight at you. You’ll know what’s coming and it won’t even matter.
