I'm baffled as to why JJ hasn't keep on the zone read once this season.
Because JJ and Gus believe he's Peyton Manning. Didn't you hear JJ's press conference?
JJ:"all the greats throw interceptions."

So you really believe Gus will keep the same shite going into our first SEC game? It's a clean slate for the SEC schedule comin up.
yes I do.
What is he going to do different? He has one serviceable running back, a QB who cant run and cant read defenses. He has a offensive line that has been very inconsistent and new players all over the field.
He will come out running the ball with Barber. LSU will play Barber and not worry about Johnson running. So Gus will try play action passing until Jeremy throws a few picks.
Same as the past two games.
LSU has athletes all over the defensive side. He wont be able to flank them and we are not strong enough up front to push them off the ball
What adjustment can he make?

Gus's stock has dropped extremely quickly. Just a few short weeks ago, he was being hailed as an offensive genius.

the only adjustment I could see might be in the locker room. seen more than a couple guys, especially on offense, who are taking quite a few plays off. the worst offender being Duke Williams. with as much trouble as that sob was in the offseason I'm not sure I dont make an example and get these guys' attention. we arent playing with any kind of fire. its pathetic.

What adjustment can he make?
I'm not confident in either happening.

I always thoght Malzahn's pre-snap shell game was the primary reason his run schemes were so hard to defend.
Did Malzahn get rid of the motion in order to make the offense easier for Johnson?
The motion was to help identify the defense being run.. JJ can not read defenses, so the motion also tips off the defense.
