The crystal ball returns to the SEC, and it's the Gamecocks' turn this season.

UCLA.
they get USC and Stanford late miss Oregon
But might play them it CCG , if they get through this stretch they easily get it
NEBRASKA
only draw MSU from east. Should easily be favored the rest of the way.
FSU
play in ACC. Undefeated , I still thin UF upsets them on thanksgiving. But 12-1 ACC champ gets in
OSU
Undefeated unless Big Game Bob screws it up
I think SEC has a 2007 season , a lot of 2-3 loss teams, too much parity too many questions. the other four Confs I ghink have champions with 1 loss or less.
I do think , whoever posted UCF, is interesting. If they go undefeated which is plausible, backing tha up with Fiesta bowl win last year. They could get consideration.
I was listening to College Sports yesterday , and they made an interesting statement. If the SEC champ or the Big 10 champ gets left out , which is highly likely this season one of those
Confs champs does miss out. Will there be an expansion to 8 games within the next 2 years. Probably so.
For those of you saying 2 sec teams, much less AU and Bama. Don't be ridiculous. It has been made clear the conf champs will take precedence. It would take a non champ with no more than 1 loss , and at least a 2 game advantage to get into the playoff over a conf champ. This isn't the polls or some computer. It's a 13 person committee , charged with making money , that's right making money. And that happens when all is represented.

OU - Seriously, 92nd SoS, cake walk
Mich St - Big 10 is terrible
FSU - ACC is terrible
Auburn - That offense

What happens if an undefeated west team gets beat in the SECG by a 3 loss east team? Who goes to the play off from SEC?

Y'all could be taking money from the big 12 fans.

Depends on the other conferences ... The SEC Champ probably gets left out with 3 losses . And the one loss runner up. Will have to hope it's not tied record wise with a P5 conf champ. Or it's out.
I believe they will look at teams in this order.
champions
Overall records
any head to head comparisons
(ie LSU played Wisky, Wisky played Nebraska)
OOC records
make no mistake if it's ...
OREGON. PAC12 champ
OSU. BIG champ
OKLA. B12 champ
FSU Acc Champ
Bama SEC runner up
And all have 1 loss. They have no choice, Bama ain't going.
The committee would lose all confidence nationally if they did.

I don't see my Tide making it this year, too many questions at the QB and CB positions.
I think the odds are pretty good they do make it. Saban has had 3 "down" seasons at Alabama. 2007, came back the next year and were 11-0 in the regular season in 2008, even with a "not so talented team". 2010, came back to win back to back national championships. 2013, much like 2010 they lacked team chemistry. The fire just wasn't there. I expect that fire will be back this season, for Saban and the team.

You are correct.
I was using the helmet schedule, and just quickly looking at the helmets in each schedule. they used the chrome one , which appears blue , just missed it.
so that does make UCLA a harder pick, I still think they have a good shot, but would probably have 1 loss , to make it. . Maybe losing early to Oregon and then winning in Champ game.
Either way I think a 1-2 loss PAC champ gets in over 1-2 loss sec non champ.

Imo an SEC team and a PAC12 team should be be guaranteed a spot each in the playoffs, with the other two spots taken by the other 3 major conferences.

What has the Pac 12 done to deserve an auto bid?
