But I bet if you took a poll. Only State fans would say you had a better team than OM last year.

But if I took a poll only everyone on here would say you didn't need that mid-sentence period..

Thanks for lurking Gump. I'll add my post to your trolling efforts

I noted in another thread that Craig has two NFL starting QB's: Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel. We also have the obvious Cam connection with Malzahn and Lashlee. We also have a tenuos claim to Jason Campbell who I expect to beat out Ol' Man Weeden and Colt McCoy in Cleaveland.
We could be looking at 4 NFL QB's as starters with Auburn connections which should really help in recruiting a position of great need
Losely translated this means get your body ready SEC

Jason Campbell barely beat out crippled Jay Cutler last year.
Can the Auburn fans let it go already? I know you were proud he had one competent year on the plains, but he just isn't good.

Damn when did EJ Manuel start in the NFL? NCAA and NFL QB at the same time? GOAT.

Whatevs Dudes . . . Haters gone hate. I'd say crippled Jay Cutler is at least marginally better than Grandpa Weeden

Maybe it was because after the MTSU game he started facing real talent. Not trying to start an argument, just giving you my and probably others opinion.
How did we manage to shut down Justin Hunter and Cord Patterson in the passing game early in the season? Surely you aren't implying the talent went up from those two...
The entirity of the previous 3.5 years of Banks' career makes it obvious there was more to the story than what the last 5 games showed. Is it more logical that teams "figured him out" 45 games into his college career -- or that he had a nagging knee injury that teams exploited, still largely thanks to the failure of our safeties when Banks was playing underneath?

He ran a 4.6 at the combine.

*Looks at box score. Sees gave up over 200 yards rushing to UT including four rushers with more than 30 yards.*
I think I have some theories.

To get this thread back on track . . . Mullins plays injured possible 1st round draft pick, players stock plummets as a result of injury, Mullins response is "chracter" and "work-ethic" issues???

And, Scott "Lefty" Loeffler coached the great Tom Brady.

Banks was going to be late 1st or 2nd round because of his speed. His combine sealed his fate.
As Engie said- he's a F/S in a CB body. He has great instincts that help him overcome his lack of speed.
State and Mullen are on an impressive draft run that our school has never experienced- to suggest Mullen is hurting his players draft stock is ludicrous

Where did I say we were a great defense against the run? In fact, that was the worst rush defense(yds/att) since 2003 at MSU.
Look more closely at box score:
Bray - 13-24 148yds 2td 1int
Hunter - 2rec 41yds
Patterson - 2rec 25yds 1td

You didn't. Don't be a dipshit as usual. They ran the ball all over you. 24 attempts for Bray is pretty fricking low. (24 pass attempts 34 rushes) Why did you shut them down? I'll spell it out for you. They gashed you with the run. Still lost, but you guys were a wet tissue against the run.
