This mostly. The early season schedule doesn't allow for a repeat of last spring/summer

Y'all are going to rely on a QB who threw 20 picks in JUCO last year to be a playmaker? I know Mocha Cam is bad, but damn...

NM's defense was also giving up over fifty a game. When watching his film it's pretty obvious that he was just slinging it at times, probably as he was told to do, hoping to keep with the amount if points other teams were putting up. He has uncommon athletic ability, and with our other offensive tools around him, Gus can probably build a solid offense with the read-option being key.

I still think AU would be better off sticking him at corner, where he has a chance to be a really good one. The QB thing is very risky. He's extremely raw as a passer.

Front seven, I think LSU won't be as stout against the run as they usually are.

We have the talent at every position to make another run at it, but it all comes down to the above. It's difficult to keep a group of guys, all of them ranging from 18-21 years of age, focused on the prize after going back-to-back the previous two years.

I'm actually most worried about our OL. Replacing 3 NFL draft picks (2 of which could be 1st rounders) concerns me more than anything for Bama. Plus it's not just the talent factor (I'm sure we have some talented kids waiting to step up), but the OL being able to play as a cohesive unit could be more of an issue than usual when you lose more than half of the OL (not to mention Williams at TE who was a heck of a blocker). If our OL can gel, then I'll feel pretty darn good about our chance this year.

Whoever gels the quickest between the A&M D-Line and the Alabama O-Line will determine who wins the game on 14 September.
