Both are questionable character high quality coaches. One is known for being an offensive guru and the other a defensive guru. Petrino, Saban, and Meyer are the only coaches to ever take two different schools to BCS games fwiw.

Congrats. Your coach is a job hopper. That's all that says. Most coaches whom wins BCS games don't change schools. Congrats. Your EX coach was a job hopper. He never finished higher than 3rd , when he got in a real conf.

Exactly. Is the team expected to perform better when told that they aren't living up to expectations?

That isn't the fans job.

While I didn't always like JJ's play, I know that we are recruiting his brother. And he was booed for about two years. It made me soooooo mad. Plus. These are basically kids, putting their body on the line and doing more for LSU football ,on one Saturday, than the people booing them, ever will.

Let's flip this bitch. What do you love about your fanbase?

I love that Bama fans, alumni or not, can, on some level, identify with the coach or players and take pride it their state's accomplishments.

I feel the same way about Auburn fans.

I worked with high school sports for over 10 years. I know a lot of kids that said they would never play for LSU after seeing the way the fans acted during the JJ / JL clusterfrick.

It is the coaches job to critique players. Not some fat arse alcoholic that has probably never played a day of football past JR high.

One of the best coaches I have ever worked with used to say "Those that can't play, coach. Those that can't coach, bitch".

I'm glad that we are the clear cut No.1 school that represents the State of Louisiana, and when people think about football in our state, they think of LSU..

I am proud that 2 schools, whom are always at each others throat, can have success.

I wish there was one day in Alabama when we could put our guns down and appreciate our badassness.

I love that you can smell the bourbon, outside of the stadium. I love that , at TIGER Stadium, we are right down on the field. I mean close! I love how we are very nice to opposing fans while tailgating and once inside Tiger Stadium it's like a bunch of rabid bourbon filled dogs. THIS IS ALL FOR BIG GAMES. Sadly through LSU rise, a lot of real true fans have been priced out of some seats. So unless it's a big game, Tiger Stadium is a shell of itself.

Exactly.

To answer his question, I think the thing that annoys me most about our fans is, in a way, one of the things I love most about our fans. LSU fans are passionate and we are some of the best fans in sports (when we aren't being asses)

the fans that constantly ring the fricking cowbells the entire game and then get pissed when someone asks them to tone it down...
the ones that say TSUN, Ole Ms/Mrs, or any variation of these.. and the ones that come from Gene's Page...

I know that some people say that it's dumb to care so much about college football like we do in the south, but it's more than just football. It's the memories, the chill bumps you get when the band plays, the good times with great friends, the big plays you'll never forget till the day you die and all the cool people you meet along the way

Passion can be great and turrible, see Updyke.

I've yet to see you great LSU folks in real life action, I can't wait.
