Are the new sections in that image deliberately half empty to indicate MSU wouldn't be able to fill out this stadium? (unless they played a team that would bring a large away section)

I think it looks pretty awesome

This stadium will help fight the man.

That first pic of the two is a fricking monster.
That is nowhere near close to what it would look like. And it looks like the "picture" was taken from 10 miles away to make that whole other side look huge

He's saying it will never sell out if they expand.

win and they will come. if mullen builds a consistent program then it shouldn't be a problem.

There is now way that State and OM fans put together would fill up that second pic on that guys post. That stadium looks rediculously big
Posted on 4/1/10 at 7:59 pm to hehatedrew
yeah, that thing looks ridiculous. i mean if capacity is upped to 70,000 or even a little less i don't think selling out is unattainable.

sorry...it will NEVER be a sell out...Never. Period. Don't try. However, I still have jumbo tron envy

ok that's it. let's halt all plans of expansion now, a white noise poster from the sec rant on an internet message board says it will never sell out.

65 would be plenty at the moment IMHO. Either way, I can't wait till it's finished(or started. I love looking at pics of different stadiums around the SEC and going to games in them. The stadiums in the SEC truly are part of it, and what makes going to away SEC games so special

Youre right. Im sure that it could happen. But not often. Maybe once every couple years. I think you'd have to be able to get at least 65,000 for every SEC game for an expansion like that to be needed.

Dont get me wrong, it would look fantastic and State fans are great people, but there is just not a way to fill all that up. A small expansion would be great though.

And that is all that is seriously being suggested. State fans arent expecting any upperdeck or anything, just to bowl in an endzone. The pics are just for fun and ideas of future expansion opportunities after they bowl in an end zone

I'm gonna say it will look more like that second pic, with some suites maybe
