Im not sure, but if bama and LSU are indeed the two best teams in the country, it should be LSU-Bama.

Call me nuts. Voters will not let this happen again. That game received the lowest ratings. A 2 loss Fl State, Oregon, USC, etc. will get in over a one loss Bama. B'lee dat. No way they let it happen again even if y'all lost in 4OT by 2 points.

Say LSU beats Alabama regular season.. I think a 1 loss Bama with the ESPN love could get in over a 1 loss LSU.
USC beats Oregon regular season. Oregon beats USC in Pac12 Title. Since ESPN is on the USC Bandwagon.. If the opposite happened they'd probably put a 1 loss USC over say a 1 loss LSU.
West Virginia and Oklahoma are the strengths of the Big12. Both would need to have a loss.
Florida State and Clemson are the strengths of the ACC. Both would have to have a loss.
LSU being in the SECCG would knock out Georgia or the SEC East Rep.
ESPN loves Alabama so you'd probably see a LSU vs Alabama National Title Repeat..
The only problem is say you have:
LSU undefeated.
Alabama 1 loss close to LSU
USC/Oregon 1 loss, but wins Pac12 Title. You'd probably see USC or Oregon jump Alabama because Alabama did not play in the SECCG.
The only reason last year happened was Oklahoma State didn't get to play for a Big 12 Championship.. If they got to play and won.. It would have been LSU vs Oklahoma State for the National Title.

I would much rather see a superteam made up of the best players on both teams destroy USC.
It has about the same chance of happening as a rematch.
