It’s not a big deal. We don’t have a school that isn’t called Tulane who considers us their top rival, and it’s pretty obvious why we hadn’t been scheduling them like Georgia does with Georgia Tech when you think about their last 60 years or so of play

Yep - miss tangling with LSU on Friday after Thanksgiving. Solid series and great finish to season.

Plus, gotta respect those Cajuns. They are almost as crazy as us.

Lotta good memories drinking bourbon and eating turkey with the LSU faction - good people and fiesty series. Bring it back.

Watching us play Misery instead depresses me. It’s like ending the season with Iowa State. WTF.

From a comparison of academics you should be playing ULL.

You work behind the scenes for MSNBC I assume. You seem to be adept at spewing misinformation.

“Tulane doesn’t want to play LSU unless it’s a home and home. LSU doesn’t want to lose the revenue of a home game every other year.”

If Tulane agreed to play their home game in the Dome, LSU would probably agree. But with their new stadium, I am sure they will only agree to play their home game in it. Given the capacity is only 30K, the ticket demand would be through the roof.
It would be fun to see this game happen again. Tulane is now competitive so it would be a much better matchup in the present day.

Then OK-OK State could play each other.
LSU-OK does NOT even come close to being a rivalry.

Don’t understand why people think OU would consider Missou a rival….Our rival is Texass….we have an established rivalry game ..

Back in the day we had rivalry versus Texas, versus Nebraska, and versus Okie St….Missou was a conference game…

We are pleased to start a rivalry with LSU it has great potential, This is a new rivalry we can get excited about…we came to the SEC to play SEC games , not rehash the old big 12 games
