He is pretty much the only coach in the nation that would make Saban and Miles sweat.

yea saban was the one whose body quit on him after the beating laid down by Urban Meyer. I don't think Saban is scared of anyone. Hopefully this will inspire one of these big time coaches to want to come in and take him back down to reality. Coaching is a game of egos.

Pete Carroll or Jim Harbaugh. Too bad Arkansas doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting either.

He'd have to be at UT, LSU or UF for that.

What he would need is a dynamic personality and a school with deep pockets and nice facilities.

Boy, I bet that sent your rivalry with the Greenies into a tizzy.

You still just don't get it, do you? Arkansas does not have the ceiling that the top level SEC programs do. The sooner you accept that, the better of you're going to be.

If you let schools like Tulane and GT win an SEC championship then i'm not sure we want in with this group. We should probably go the Alabama route to get a national championship.

What makes Hawg fans think Gruden would come to Arkansas when he hasn't been to other programs? I can see Tennessee, given his connections, but I don't know what ties he has with Arkansas.

Hog fans feel Gruden's relationship with a golfer is the key to him coming to Fayetville to coach.

What do Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Sewanee (TN) have in common with Arkansas Razorbacks?

you could also include in this group Notre Dame, USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida State, Miami, and a ton of other programs.

LSU fans not so much...

I tell ya, you get lucky and win two games by a combined 9 points and you think you are the '72 Dolphins. LSU sandblasted the hogs by 24 without an offense and no effect on the false bravado. Crazy.

You don't get it do you? We lack nothing that the elite have except the reputation and that can be earned. In fact it is easier to earn that reputation now faster than ever before because of the how fast information spreads.

Well we did hire his OC from last year. PMFP liked him enough to go work for him last year.

Ahh, but you are forgetting one crucial detail. At the end of the day, you are still in the state of Arkansas.
