I still think Tennessee wins the East.

Me too. If we beat UF and Tenn. beats UK things can get interesting. I like our chances against UF but the rant seems to think it is a sure thing for us. I hope so but not so sure. If that happens, there will be a lot of SC fans pulling hard for Vandy/Mizzou.

Kentucky beats Tennessee
South Carolina beats Florida and Florida loses to LSU
South Carolina wins out
After losing to Kentucky, Tennessee beats Vanderbilt

And in this scenario, South Carolina goes to Atlanta.

No, actually Tennessee has to beat Kentucky, then lose to either Vandy or Mizzou.

All of this will occur and look great for USC right up until the officials screw Vandy out of a win over the Vols. This will, of course, happen because of the REC and b/c Bama is scared of the Gamecocks.

Sorry Cocks...I like your frosh QB and all....but Gators will be dangerous at home after a big arse whipping they just got....just like the pigs came out on fire after being taken behind the woodshed by AU....then they had a week off to stew about it. Not saying we win by much but history tells me we will be focused at home without JDR and win. We are without 2 starting LBs but young guys will step up.

Tennessee (2-3): Needs to win out (MIZZ, UK, and VU) and have Florida lose to either South Carolina or LSU. Georgia (3-4): Has to beat Auburn, Florida has to lose to SC and LSU, Tennessee has to lose to MIZZ or Vandy and beat Kentucky. This would force a five way tie that would go to Western opponent record. It would come down to who finishes with a better SEC record: Ole Miss (Georgia), or Arkansas (Tennessee). Tie goes to Tennessee. So Georgia would need Ole Miss to win out vs. A&M, Vanderbilt and State and Arkansas to lose 2/3 against State, Missouri and LSU or Ole Miss to win 2/3 and Arkansas to lose out.

Everything looks good, except right here; Arkansas wouldn't have any bearing on Tennessee... we played A&M. Either way, the tie would still go to the Vols.

Here's the scenarios for each team.

Florida (4-2): Controls own destiny.
Kentucky (4-3): Must beat Tennessee and have South Carolina and LSU beat Florida.
South Carolina (3-4): Has to beat Florida, LSU has to beat Florida, Georgia has to lose to Auburn, Tennessee has to beat Kentucky and lose to Vandy or Mizzou. This would d create a four way tie in which SC would be 2-1 against Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. South Carolina would also win a five way tie if Vanderbilt were to win out and things got crazy.

Florida win over South Carolina eliminated everyone but Florida and Tennessee. Florida win vs. SC or LSU + Tennessee loss to anyone clinches it for Florida

I am confused and depressed, all at the same time.

I think Georgia Southern gained more yards on Bama than almost any team in years. That'd be the best matchup.
