Alabama 12 hits in 9 innings; LSU 8 hits in 8 innings
Alabama 9 hits in 9 innings; LSU 10 hits in 8 innings
Alabama 10 hits in 9 innings; LSU 10 hits in 8 innings
Cumulatively:
Alabama 31 hits in 27 innings = 1.15 hits per inning
LSU: 28 hits in 24 innings = 1.17 hits per inning
What's surprising is LSU having three more errors in the series but still winning all three.
