What % of TigerRanters wanted Nussmeyer to be the starter after the FSU loss?

Congrats to Jayden Daniels and very well-deserved. Seems like a genuinely good dude and he is definitely his daddy's son. His mom is really pretty.

TigerRant was a fascinating place in the 48 hours after the Florida State loss. Are there any LSU fans on here emotionally intelligent enough to admit that they thought that Nussmeyer should've been the starter after the Florida State game and before whoever it was that LSU played in week 2?

There were many.

No real ones. Heisman champs. LSU won more than Georgia.

I said he absolutely had to start throwing downfield for LSU to have the chance to win games and if he couldn't, then they needed to put Nuss in.

After that, he started throwing downfield and it worked.

They hated Daniels last year and they wanted him gone for good after FSU. Now those same fans are crying real tears watching his Heisman speech.

I will admit that I was calling for the Nuss bus. Glad to be proven wrong though.

I absolutely wanted Nuss to start. Old Jayden took almost no chances and therefore had many 0 touchdown games and two games below 90 yards passing last year while the Nuss was launching the ball downfield.

Based on the information available to the average fan, it wasn’t a bad take. What quarterback make a big jump after already having 40 starts?

That being said, I’m glad he made the jump and think he’s a top notch guy. Really happy for him.

I mean, a lot of your fan base was done with Milroe multiple times this season. Fans are emotional idiots sometimes. Shocker

I applaud you. That's not something that's easy to do. I was ready to die on my message board sword for way too long posting about how awesome J.T. Daniels was and how bad Stetson Bennett sucked.

I did and was obviously wrong. My issue was he would have a great game or 2, then have an Arkansas game from 2022. I mistakenly blamed him for the FSU loss instead of looking at how bad defensively we played, which was our biggest issue this year. I was wrong and will happily eat my crow and admit I was wrong

The best thing that nobody talks about with jd is how few ints he throws. He only got tricked into throwing an int once this year the others were tipped balls and the receiver slipping against fsu.

The fact that he can be so efficient and take what’s there and still complete 65% of throws over twenty yards is amazing

Stat from tonight that was shown

On throws 20+ yards downfield

65% completion percentage 22tds 0 ints

He’s so careful yet explosive. The nfl loves that and I think he would fit in somewhere that runs an offense that San Fran does
