West Virginia is 5-4 against SEC teams in the last 15 years (1999-2014), including 2-1 in Bowl games. But whatever.

What does that have to do with ANYTHING?! If actually winning games mattered Boise St would be in a Power 5 conference by now. Or heck BYU would be too.
I swear people think college football is run just like they manage things on their copy of Madden. Just winning games sometimes isn't enough.

I'm going to go out on a sturdy limb and wager those advocating WVU in this thread have never set foot in West by-God Virginia.

A Kentucky fan disparaging West Virginia on the basis of culture is the height of hypocrisy.
In fact, every college in the SEC is in a state that has their share of "poor white trash" as you guys seem so fond of saying.
If you want to dismiss WVU because of population, tv market, or something that has a basis in fact and is not based on stereotypes, have it.

Their fans party harder than any fan base in the SEC and Stonewall Jackson was from there.
They had their chance, but they blew it. Do not assault and treat the visiting fans like shite if you want to join the conference that team is in. Assaulting LSU fans was not the deciding factor but it was the straw that broke the camels back.
Of course Gumps probably want more crazy teams in the SEC. I guess yall are tried of being the trailer trash of the conference.
