Well its pretty obvious that this family loves the kid and not for his athletic abilities.

There is a reason why the NCAA investigated this situation. I think it may have started as a good act but might have gotten out of hand with the new truck that had the Ole Miss sticker on it.

You mean the fricking gestapo? The same organization who ruled that a coach was in violation for buying a player a pizza and a coke after the player's dad had just passed away? When I was in high school my dad bought me a car too...and it had a sticker on it from his college.

Seriously?
If the NCAA investigated and found no wrongdoing why the frick won't you shut up? Michael Oher isn't at Ole Miss anymore, though we'll always love him. I would like to know why the whole situation bothers you.

Huh? I'm supporting Oher and the Tuhoy's here and saying the NCAA was up to no good as usual. Hence my other two references in the post.

That was directed towards Marines 4. Sorry for not specifying that.
I quoted your post because I agree with it.
I don't mind the NCAA investigating the situation, but if no charges were brought forth you have to just drop it. I mean, jealous much?
And on that note, I don't even know why dude is jealous.

I'm just glad the NCAA hasn't come after me for all my minor violations...
I'm shocked they didn't track down my IP address from a post I made about this a year or so ago.

I am not jealous and I think the story is great. It is so good to see things in society happen like this especially considering it was people of different social classes and race. I was just mentioning the alternative argument; some coaches actually said publicly that they bought him to OM.

No, just bored and curious.
It's not like the NCAA is going to do anything to us now.

lulz I saw it tonight, too. It was pretty good.
But I was laughing my arse off when each coach came on because they were all so awful. It was just funny to see them all in a movie. You could understand Orgeron most of the time, but there was one line he said that I completely couldn't understand.
Saban really sounded like he was acting, he didn't sound natural.

I could have done without seeing Tom Lemming in the movie. The Fulmer scenes made me gag. Other than that a great story, and I have even more respect for Oher than before. Amazing what he accomplished.
