This is just like the bias toward Alabama and I for one am just as disappointed. Now they have a MOU with the CFP that gives them a free pass. Just force them into a fkng conference no. On this independent BS. If they were part of the ACC like the Covid year we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. They most likely would have been to the ACC championship and won; and gotten their bye.

Furthermore, imho, ND should be banned from playing in a bowl next season because of this year's stunt.
And no SEC, B1G or Big 12 team should schedule them in the future.

It will not matter because if the same situation happened next year the committee will have them at 13. ND thought they could hold the committee hostage this year and we saw how that worked out.
Eventually ND will have to join a conference because when some team from the SEC or B1g gets left out over some little rule built in for ND the P4 will simply say we will no longer schedule you and tell them to enjoy a g6 schedule that will eliminate them from the playoffs for good.
