I stand by it.

He is doing the same things at State that he could do at Florida. With a much looser leash. Mullen could go 0-12 the next two years, but if he gets State in the playoff this year, a golden statue of his will be made next to Davis-Wade.

Like it or not, State may not be a top 10 job, but could be a top 20 job if you look at what the job actually offers. Dan could almost write his own salary because of his relationship with the administration and current product. Dan has been here since 2009 and has had chances to leave, but stayed. State has upgraded facilities and built a new football complex with a weight room that's second to none. The stadium is vastly improved and MSU mostly recruits players from MS, LA, AL, and that is a huge benefit. This is the way Dan looks at things. Dan also likes Mississippi and I don't look for him to go right now.

It is really sad how scared you guys are of Mullen and Mississippi State. If you guys are this scared just imagine how your players must feel? It is time for you to man up and grow a pair. Hailstate

Again, a few loud mouths irrational posts on a message board does not speak for the entire fan base. State was not going to fire, excuse me, push a head coach out the door that goes above .500 every year and gets us to a bowl game. Most rational fans were waiting on this year b/c these were all Mullen's guys and his QB was taking the reigns full time.
